Since I'd never done this before I was hesitant to trust my little friend to strangers. My pup passed her meet-and-greet with flying colors, and it eased a good measure of my discomfort. After having boarded her several times now, were BOTH happy with their staff and services. I never worry about her while she's there, and I often forget to even check in on her (except when my grandkids ask if we can see her!). Now when I pack her things, she knows where she's going, and it's not uncommon for her to be too excited to eat or drink, and even if I'm not ready to leave she'll get in the car and won't get out. We're both happy we found Four Paws Hotel and Day Resort! (I referred my sister to them, and now her dog is a regular when she leaves town as well.)

He is a medium long hair cat that can be cranky, uncooperative and does not like to be brushed. This is probably a lot to do with the fact that his coat is very think and tends to get tangled. Gamma loves it after he has this treatment though. He seems to gain energy from getting rid of all that think fur. While we have a home in Grand Blanc, we travel a lot and have used different cat groomers around this U.S. with varying results. Some people have really struggled with him, others have managed him well. Michelle at Ruffly was awesome. She was able to handle Gamma keep him calm and actually had a good time with him. When I picked him up, Gamma was not stressed, and his cut was just about perfect. She clipped his nails, bathed and trimmed his hair. None of these things will he typically tolerate without a major struggle. On top of that, her rate was very reasonable. Michelle is now our favorite cat groomer.

In fact, on the day of our consult he took the opportunity to sneak out of the garage door and take a tour of our new neighborhood, nearly getting struck by a car as we frantically tried to catch him. When we started training, it was clear that he had the desire to learn and work, we just had to learn how to help him. Einstein didn't just train our dog, they trained US. Now, we are confident in allowing him out in our backyard without a lead, knowing we have the ability to recall him to the house without him running off. Our young daughter can walk him on his leash without being pulled, and he greets people politely without knocking them down. More so, he is a happier, more confident dog now that he knows his "job".
