It was amazing, had a good variety of toppings, the rice was prepared well and had a nice seasoning to it. The salmon on top was delicious. The omakase was a different story. While the concepts of the dishes sounded good on paper the execution was not very good in most dishes. I am not going to spend the time going through each dish but I would not recommend this restaurant's omakase to anyone. We didn't try the sushi but everyone else in the restaurant seemed to order the sushi so maybe we did something wrong. I will say the service was not great either. At one point we had a 30 minute break in our meal as they prepared the next course.at minute 20 of the break the operations manager came over to tell us the dish had not even been fired yet. He did not offer an explanation( it was after the prawns and we were waiting on the lamb). So the thirty minute break between two courses disturbed our appetites. Lastly, we had the passion fox cocktail. Rarely does a cocktail serve to lower the score. For how much we paid at this restaurant, disappointment is am understatement.
