Visited one night in July on our way through the area. GPS took us to the back of the hotel for…read moresome reason, but there is a good amount of parking around the building. A portico in front for loading and unloading. Several luggage carts in vestibule. We checked in on the app but when we arrived were told we needed to update the credit card on file, which surprised me as this is the third hotel in the chain we've checked into in three days and the first time this occurred. Not a problem at all, just a weird glitch in the system. The receptionist was super nice and we had some good interactions with her. The lobby area is small with coffee service across from reception. A large space behind a partition wall is set up for breakfast dining. Cookies were available for guests near the elevators at check-in too. Our King suite room was quite large which is nice after being on the road all day. A wet bar area takes up the room entry way with a small sink, coffee, ice bucket, cups, small fridge and microwave. Very convenient for long stays. I set up my tea pot, cups and teas in this area. Yes, I travel with my own tea service. A sofa with side table and lamp are straight ahead with a large desk area with phone and lamp across from the sofa. A large TV is on the wall over the desk and swivels to the sofa or the bed as needed. Plenty of room between sofa and desk area to do yoga. Yay. Two tufted ottomens on wheels are against the wall to the side that could be used as seats or foot rests. We used them together as a luggage rack. The king bed is on the wall opposit the sofa, so a long rectangular room. Bathroom and closet on the hallway side of the room. Bed was comfortable with a variety of pillows. Sheets soft, duvet good weight. Lamps, two plugs, a USB port and side tables both sides. A small 'dresser' of sorts (metal baskets) is under the TV on the bed side of the desk area. A large closet near the in-room vanity has mirror doors, a luggage rack and extra blankets. The vanity has a shelf below and a fair amount of counter space. Towel bar on one side. A small bar of hand soap available and multi-use skin lotion mounted on wall. No hooks to hang toiletry bag. Waste bin is in the shower/toilet area. The shower area looks newly updated with a nice textured wallpaper, new tub and surround and tile floor. Multi-use personal care items in shower. Wood shelves held four sets of towels that were new, soft and absorbant. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water, drained well. Toilet is clean and worked as it should. Two hooks: one back of door, one between towel rack and shower. The door got stuck on that new tile floor half way open. There is no fan. I very much like the available space in this room but it needs hooks by the door for pocketbook, coat, hat, yoga mat, etc. Plenty of space there. It also needs a dedicated luggage rack area. We travel with lots of bags and one luggage rack is not enough. We also use the desk as a desk. If you don't need a desk, that surface will make a good luggage rack. I did not partake of their breakfast buffet but am told by my travel companion, who did, it consists of the usual suspects: juice, yogurt, eggs, sausage, potato, toaster items, cold cereal, etc. Everything was clean. Staff were very pleasant. Located next to a brewery for an easy walk to dinner.

Everyone had to sign an additional paper regarding rules and etiquette during their stay. It seemed to be helping. Breakfast was well stocked and nice.

Staff was pleasant, polite, and efficient. However, we definitely recommend this hotel if you need a clean and decent place to stay, especially if you have an animal with you!

If you walk straight, there's a cupboard that has snacks and drinks. There's a locker that was espresso color wood that had kitchen gadgets such as cork screws, grilling tools, blender, crock pot, waffle maker, etc. There is also a door that leads you out side where there's a tables, chairs, and grills. The place even has a laundry room and work out room. I stayed in a studio suite that looked lovely and modern. The room had espresso cabinets filled with cups, plates, and glasses, a microwave, sink, stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, a work desk, brown leather chair, another chair with white and brown accents, a picture of the sun rising above the corn fields, a big tv, a beige chair near the bed, and the bed was absolutely comfortable. The bathroom had a huge mirror with a modern light that went the length of the mirror, espresso color wood cabinets, espresso color wood shelves, and a hair drier. The shower had the shampoo, conditioner, and body gel on the shower wall, which made of aloe and smelled lovely. I wish I had taken pictures of the place and the room. Due to the new covid pandemic, the hotel was taking various precautions such as glass between you and the guest service rep. Also, the rooms were thoroughly cleaned between guests. If you wish to stay longer, there was a sign in the bathroom about house keeping only cleaning your room a few times and that you could pick up extra towels, soap, etc at the check in desk. Overall, I had a great time staying here and would love to stay here soon!

Parking lot is very well lit and right near the entrance to the hotel. The room is very clean, mid century modern in feel, and spacious too, and the bed is very comfy. Lighting is great, room temperature controls work quickly, and you can't hear anything in the hallway (but if you have a bunch of 2-to 6-year-olds in the room above you, you'll know). Wireless internet connectivity is very quick for being free, so no need to pay for an upgrade. I went for a morning walk around the property before dawn (staying on sidewalks) and everything was safe (mostly well lit). The gym is large, equipment new and clean, towels are provided, and water dispenser works. No one was using the pool but it's there! Finally, I ordered food from the Bistro restaurant in the lobby. It's usually a bad choice, but not here. They put a lot of effort into the drinks AND food. I got the espresso martini (doesn't need the simple syrup, IMHO) and it was the best I've had in a while (people keep adding weird things to these drinks elsewhere or it ends up being coffee milk-- iykyk). The Turkey Avocado BLT (sans bacon for me) and side arugula salad (fresh baby arugula, cucumbers and tomatoes!!) was large and a great value for 12.50. They don't joke about the Texas toast and they aren't skimping with the avocado. The salad was large enough that I got it "to go" and made it my lunch the next day. The grilled chicken sandwich was also delicious and had fresh ingredients. Honestly, I don't have criticism to provide. Best business trip hotel I've stayed in while traveling in the Midwest.
