So we said that we'll check this place out since everyone seems like they're all having a good time and there was no cover charge. The bar was packed, people dancing on the little dance floor, and there were people playing beer pong. Next to the bar, they have a pool table and a dart board. Seemed like everyone in there was ordering jugs of beer. I, on the other hand, kept ordering shots. I was taking advantage because the shots here were cheap as well. So I walked around and made it by the dance floor. It was about a 10X8 dance floor and some song came on and everyone on that dance floor were doing line dancing! Wow! You never see that in LA. I wasn't feelin' the crowd very much because it seemed more like an 18+ joint. So after an hour and half, we all decided to bolt out and call it a night. My cousin rented what she was told, a party van for 16 people for her daughter's bachelorette…read moreparty. It was over $400 to rent from 9pm-2am, not counting the tip. First, it was late arriving and when it did, it was a school bus that the bottom has been spray painted black. My cousin immediately call the owner, Greg. She told him she specifically told him she did not want a school bus as she was told it was am option. He asked her if she wanted to him to send the driver home. She said no she wanted what they had agreed upon. He said what she was paying him for was to take her party bar hopping and getting them home safe and that was it. She said that was not the agreement. She was promised a party van th as t had air conditioning (which this did not), a bluetooth hook up so we could hook our phones up and play music of our choice (which it did not). He asked what she wanted him to do and she said to take $100 off. His response was that he could not do that. He would take $50 off. At this point we are now looking at 9:30 before the bus gets loaded and we leave. As we start to leave, the school bus didn't have lights except for 1 little one in the back, the windows had to be down because of the heat and the ride was so bumpy and loud conversation was not an option. Oh, then we got to listen to a radio station with the luxury of commercials and all. The bus driver Mike, who was absolutely fantastic, explained that this bus was just purchased 2 weeks ago so they haven't had the time to put the air and bluetooth in yet. A respectable business owner would have made that clear to the customer that was all he had left to rent. We would have went elsewhere. As we were pulling up to bars in Peoria, people sitting outside were laughing so we ended up having Mike drop us off around the corners so we wouldn't be seen. But trust me, this girl made it known to all that for over $400 they too could get this "beauty" from Big City Shuttle. So I hope the advertisement was helpful. Two of the guests had rides pick them up as the 30 minute ride back was too unbearable, physically. 1 of our passengers was throwing up from the bumpy ride home. As soon as she was off the bus, she was fine. I have included a picture. I went to his facebook page and noticed there's not a picture of our glorious ride on it, so I am including it here and will on social media. I've encouraged all 13 other ladies to do the same. I would like to thank Mike for being patient and making the best of a horrible situation. I would NEVER recommend this place. Poor judgment on his part as out of the 14 ladies on board, 10 are still single or engaged and will he renting for their bachelorette parties and wedding but rest assured it will not be from Greg at Big City Shuttle! It was so dark on the bus, most of us had to hold our phone flashlights up while trying not to spill our cocktails because of the bouncing around that the bus caused.
