My oldest son died June 14,2023 of cardiac arrest. He was 39. my other son and my daughter wanted to all go in together to get memorial tattoos in remembrance of him . AJ called March 1st to say he was going to be busy the 9th and asked if we could come in on the 2nd . I was so upset . Of course artists can be booked quite a ways out , but we HAD our appointments scheduled. My son and I are both in positions that we can't just call in to work and not just any one can work for us ( management) and my daughter lives in a different state. I had expressed this in my email when making sure we were scheduled for a Saturday. Because of all the hassle and us having already requested the day of March 9th off , I asked AJ if we could get some kind of discount. He said " No, I have your deposit, stop in and get it." So VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I've noticed most of the good reviews on here are for Taya or Damien . Well, as of now AJ is the only artist in the shop . Well , he has lost business with all 3 of us along with any friends or family. Very disappointed and definitely would never recommend.

The vibe of the studio was very clean and very quiet. All the artists use really quiet tattoo machines so you don't have the constant buzzing throughout your appointment. This was the most comfortable I've ever felt in a tattoo shop. Between the people, the cleanliness and the overall vibe, I would happily travel back (I live out of state) to get more work done here.

I was a little wary because I had found the shop on the internet, rather than being referred to by word of mouth after meeting someone with work done by an artist. But James Ann was great. In addition to the piece of art she gave me, she also taught me the difference between real artists and guys just tattooing out of their basement. The two are extremes that should not be compared. Also, as proof of James Ann's awesomeness I have transcribed the following conversation I had with a random run-in in South Dakota. Me: Whoa, those are some pretty dope tattoos! Do you mind if I touch? (I don't know why but I really like touching other people's tattoos). Lady Barber: Thanks and no, I don't mind at all! After it's completion, I was told the black ink inside would fade after 2 months. It never did. When I contacted the company, I was first told that they wanted me to love my tattoo. However, when I went in for a consultation I was told that it wouldn't fade AND the bricks were too small to add names AND the artist who did it had been fired. So, they offered to color the bricks red and list the names underneath the wall. Oh yeah, they also offered to give me a credit...as if I would let them touch me ever again! It's not what I asked for and the only way I could love this tattoo is with a refund so I could get the wall removed and start over. DON'T TRUST A WORD GEMINI SAYS!
