We had a fantastic time here. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night, which was a welcome change from a much louder experience down the street. You can smoke (cigs) in this bar, which only enhances the experience. Drinks are reasonably priced (I had the holy water for $13, and it was basically straight vodka). Service was fantastic. If we're ever in Atlanta again, we'd go back!! read more

Worst service ever! Bartender had the worst attitude from the rip! Walked in, sat at the bar, she walks up and says: "what do you want".... Not hi, welcome to Irish Bred, or anything friendly. Had one drink, left, will never return. They also add 20% gratuity which she absolutely did not earn or deserve! read more

The food was pretty salty and they forgot the honey for the honey lemon pepper. The alcoholic beverages were good but the regular beverages had a strange flavor. It may be the water. The service was good and fast. The ambiance is a great party vibe. They also have hookah. Not very many people, but the music is great if you're in the late 30's and up. Come for the drinks and dance a bit. Not the worst place to go. read more

Do not go here! It smells so strong of cigarettes that it is hard to stay in very long. The bartender said the salmon was not spicy but it was extremely hot and when I tried to tell her she was wrong, she told my it was my problem. The food is over priced and not good And they charge an automatic gratuity charge. It is NOT anything like an Irish pub! read more

This place has turned into a dump. Gezz. Happy hour the place was empty. TVs were off. Ordered a Modelo( suprisingly) it was cold, and a Crown neat. Also, ordered cheese sticks. They taste like they were 3 days old... and on top of all this, a 20% gratuity was added to a $22 dollar bill. Never going back...ps Dave's Sports bar is right down the sidewalk. Went for lunch today. Only customers in the place. Burgers were overcooked and the Rueben was soggy. The tomato "soup" was actually marinara sauce so I'm assuming they opened the wrong can. The best part? The DJ smoking weed in the middle of the restaurant and having his phone hooked to the Bluetooth so we could hear the porn he was watching. Worth the terrible experience just so my coworkers and I can share this story! read more

Cool neighborhood spot for locals. Good crowd on a Fri & Sat nite. Serves hookah, stiff drinks and the patrons seem to have a nice vibe too. Good music- hip-hop/rap, r&b. Food and drinks came out in a decent amount of time & our server checked on us throughout the night. She did forget a couple of things, but she made herself available and honored our requests, which I appreciate. There is parking on the side of the building, but if you arrive after 11p, lot may be full. There are other nearby places to park though. First time here and I would definitely go again. read more

I had no idea that it was karaoke night. That was a treat! The vibe was fun. The bartender took her sweet time asking us what we wanted or needed. The food was ok considering that it is bar food. I would go again just to see the karaoke. read more

Just scratch this place off your list. Service so slow it doesn't exist. Friendly enough but really slow. Food. Well I wouldn't call it that. More like gruel. Worst I've had in years. So smoky I couldn't breathe and got sick. Ambiance would be dank and smelly and dirty. read more

I was so glad that this pub was in walking distance to our hotel. They have food but we just stopped in for a beer. Their beer selection was so-so. They did, however, have one English Irish Red which was good. It is a large place with several tables. There are also a few tables outside.They have several pool tables but unfortunately no darts. One thing to note, this is a smoking establishment. read more

Hotel we stayed in recommended this place. We had a lot of fun here but the place is terribly smoky, loud, and there is nothing Irish about it. It's a hip hop club at night and we wanted food after our flight. First waitress had a bad attitude but we got another one who was great. Drink selection is limited and overpriced. read more

where do I start , unfortunately my experience was horrible, we sat at the bar the bartender Ginger seemed annoyed that we were talking to her, she was ready to go , my friend asked for a manager she said there wasn't one there , to redeem his $10 credit due to a server giving themselves a $10 tip after getting 20% gratuity. she made our drinks and left. So the other bartender (catsuit) was blah asked her to split the bill (no sign saying no split bills) she then gets mad slams her hands on the bar I guess I'll have to pay for it, no I'm trying to pay but clearly you don't know how a spilt bill works anyway I paid my portion of the tab as well as my friend , he had to ask multiple times for a togo box which took 10 minutes to get , I understand being busy but being rude , when you are servicing guests is just obnoxious, its just that a dive bar so what do you expect , when weed smoke is all around. read more

Never got the tune melt we ordered, they couldn't figure out how to make it. Order a salad with grilled chicken, salad showed up without the chicken, it came half way thru the salad, salad not worth the hassle. Waitress never came to fill our drinks, had to go up to bar for service, she Obviously has not had any type of training on restaurant service 101. Smoking is Permitted inside the restaurant, which makes it horrible to try to sit and eat. Not a place we will go back too!! read more

Today was my first time here ; and it won't be my last! Great bartender, great food, and atmosphere. The catfish basket was awesome. The fish was cooked perfectly; crisp on the outside, and moist on the inside; and it had that crunch upon biting . The wings were just as delicious. Plump, crispy, and perfectly sauced. The day bartender on Sunday, March 6, 2021, between 3:00PM and 5:30 PM was terrific. Great rapport and great service. I had fun playing music on the juke box with her! She was amazing. Stopped in at the Irish Bred Pub as I had just flown into Atlanta and was staying near the airport. The place was well kept and had bar seating for about 15, with tables for another 50 people. They also had 2 pool tables. The bathroom was clean. The bar had a nice selection of liquor and about a dozen beers on draft. I had a few beers and got a meal to go. All were good and reasonably priced. If you are staying near Hartsfield Airport and in need of a drink and pub grub, you will enjoy the Irish Bred Pub. They allowed smoking inside, but the ventilation system did a great job, and I never smelled any smoke. Highly recommend. read more

We discovered this place online. But before leaving the hotel, we met a couple (who were heading to Belize the next morning to go on vacation) and asked them to join us for beers and dinner. We all walked to the Pub (1.5 blocks). We all sat at a corner booth. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered a Guiness and the Fish & Chips (recommended by the waitress. The fish was excellent, as were the french fries. We all had a great time. Fun discovery! read more

How does this place stay open?? Only 3 tables had patrons at them. Took 15 mins to get 2 beers. After waitress brought our beer she said she'd be back to take our order but never came back. Others ordered and their food came. We were totally ignored. 2 beers were 30.00. They added heavy tip! Very heavy smell of cigarettes and marijuana. 45 mins later we left and ate at an awesome steak place across the street. read more

shan't think i'm much interested in a return trip to this place. food, while just ok, was slow. uninspiring. the few folks here are nicely inebriated for barely 5 o'clock. seems a locals-with-nothing-better place more than anything. the place reeked of weed. not a 420-hater, but wow...it's 4pm on a wednesday, and because i chose to eat here, now i'm worried about pi$$ing hot on a random. the overhead music is very not irish. my bar neighbor spent the actual entire time i've been here googling drink recipes for something new to try. some worky dude doing something worky on something ceilingy just fell, a$$ first, from a ladder. no actual $hi+...hit the table on the way down and knocked over some chairs. seems to be ok, but questions were raised about calling 911. read more

There isn't anything particularly special or appealing about this place. But your options are limited in this part of town and it also doesn't totally suck. They do have daily drink specials which are nice. Smoking is allowed inside so that will be a deal breaker for some people. My waitress really didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on but we eventually got it figured out. There are TV's and they are turned to ESPN and such. It's an OK option if you have some time to kill in the area. read more

The only way this place could be for mistaken for an Irish Pub is if you consider the fact that sell bangers and mash... A smoke-filled club with miserable service and questionable clientele. If you're really hard up, the beer is cold and the food will eventually materialize, but it certainly wont take you back to you time in Dublin. read more

I attended this pub with two friends on 12/12/23. I ordered fish and chips (menu says $18) and 3 small drafts (tropical ipa, Guinnes, Kona big wave golden lager) beers and was charged $49. My friend ordered fish and chips as well and a beer or two and was charged around $40. My other friend was charged $7 for a Coors light draft. We told the waitress that we were paying too much and they would not give either of us receipts to allow us to see the cost of our food and refute the charges. When we asked for the receipt, the waitress refused to provide us our receipts. I have never a restaurant not wanting to provide your receipt. I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would recommend people to stay away from this pub. read more

I enjoy stopping in for a beer in the evening. The city of Acworth allows you to take beer & wine to go (but you need stay inside their "open container zone). The staff is fun and efficient. I think the volume here can be a bit loud - even when no music is on. I have to speak up so that people in the booth with me can hear me.

Some of my favorites are the chicken tender basket w/chips (huge portion), blackened chicken Alfredo, and the chicken Kiev (recent addition). My fav sides include the chips and the brussel sprouts! They also make great drinks and have a decent local draft beer selection that rotates. They have a calendar of events and host an Irish band on Tuesdays and trivia night on Thursdays. There is plenty of outdoor seating for the lovely days & nights. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

This visit was a work trip with work people with work programming. So, a long night of sad drinking was not in front of me. What *was* in front of me, however, was a buffet. Coming to Fado for food... okay. And that's what the food was... okay. Granted, it was a buffet. But trays of crudites, hummus, chicken satay, bbq brisket, pretzel bites, stuffed mushrooms, and salmon in mustard sauce didn't have me wanting to dance a jig. Some of the blame needs to stay with the person (people?) who put in the order. But the execution was nothing that excited. Staying on theme, the service (bar and bussing) was pretty lethargic as well. I'm assuming my group had a buyout, as we were the only people in the place. Despite that, getting a drink was interminable. The Irish Coffee was strong and proprietary (don't expect heaps of whipped cream; instead said cream is styled in the shape of the Fado squiggly. We researched…read morethe area and saw that The Breakfast Boys located in College Park, GA was Black-owned and had very good reviews. What a gem! We made reservations for the 6 of us, and upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. There was a line of people waiting to be seated, so we were concerned about having to wait since we were heading to the airport. We had a brief waiting period before being seated. Jasmine D, our server was prompt and very personable. The menu was full of delectable choices for brunch or lunch. We ordered the Very Berry French Toast, Chix & Pancakes & bacon, Jerk Chicken & Sweet Potato Waffles, and a Kids Cheese Scramble & bacon and grits. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was attentive and patient with us the entire time we were there. If you're looking for great food, a great welcoming down home ambiance and are in the area, The Breakfast Boys is a great place to go, but make reservations!
