Patron Margaritas & Hot wings with lemon pepper sprinkles are my favorite and my wife loves their Rasta Pasta

My sister and I came here on a sister date randomly. We couldn't have made a better choice! We were going to go to this other dive bar, but we decided to come here because I passed it or thought I had passed it and we ended up spending the afternoon here and meeting a great bartender by the name of Amanda. Amanda took such great care of us and make sure we're OK. We expressed that it was our first time having food here and she gave us some great recommendations. We ended up having wings, but the wings were so good and they even gave us one or two extra. I did have a hookah and when he brought me a refill, I asked how much and he said he always includes a free refill, which is very rare in Atlanta because they will charge you for everything! But I gave him a tip so all is well I will be back to watch a basketball game in the next few days and I'm sure I'll have the same experience! I can't wait and when you come, make sure you ask for Amanda The only reason why I knocked off one star is because you can't smoke cigarettes and black and Miles and hookah and cigars in here so it can get very very smoky. read more

I enjoy trying new places. I entered the Irish Bred Pub and was greater by a sign to seat myself. I sat in a booth not far from the bar. After about 5 minutes not a single person greater me or brought me a menu. As I began to gather my stuff to leave, another customer who seemed to be a regular brought me a menu. I thanked her and she told me someone will be right over. The place was NOT busy. When someone finally came over, she looked very uncomfortable doing her job. Nonetheless I gave her my order. She brought my food over and did not come back to check on me. I literally had to ask for my bill. I paid and left feeling that they only welcome the regulars and are not open to new customers. The 2 stars is based on the ease of parking in the back and the okay food. read more

The Rasta pasta was salty and didn't taste like Rasta at all. It was very soupy. It had a good amount of chicken but only a few pieces of broccoli. I suggest they season their chicken. I tasted no jerk seasoning or spice. read more

We had a fantastic time here. It wasn't too busy on a Friday night, which was a welcome change from a much louder experience down the street. You can smoke (cigs) in this bar, which only enhances the experience. Drinks are reasonably priced (I had the holy water for $13, and it was basically straight vodka). Service was fantastic. If we're ever in Atlanta again, we'd go back!! read more

Worst service ever! Bartender had the worst attitude from the rip! Walked in, sat at the bar, she walks up and says: "what do you want".... Not hi, welcome to Irish Bred, or anything friendly. The food was pretty salty and they forgot the honey for the honey lemon pepper. The alcoholic beverages were good but the regular beverages had a strange flavor. It may be the water. The service was good and fast. The ambiance is a great party vibe. They also have hookah. Not very many people, but the music is great if you're in the late 30's and up. Do not go here! It smells so strong of cigarettes that it is hard to stay in very long. The bartender said the salmon was not spicy but it was extremely hot and when I tried to tell her she was wrong, she told my it was my problem. The food is over priced and not good And they charge an automatic gratuity charge. It is NOT anything like an Irish pub! read more

This place has turned into a dump. Gezz. Happy hour the place was empty. TVs were off. Ordered a Modelo( suprisingly) it was cold, and a Crown neat. Also, ordered cheese sticks. Went for lunch today. Only customers in the place. Burgers were overcooked and the Rueben was soggy. The tomato "soup" was actually marinara sauce so I'm assuming they opened the wrong can. The best part? The DJ smoking weed in the middle of the restaurant and having his phone hooked to the Bluetooth so we could hear the porn he was watching. Cool neighborhood spot for locals. Good crowd on a Fri & Sat nite. Serves hookah, stiff drinks and the patrons seem to have a nice vibe too. Good music- hip-hop/rap, r&b. Food and drinks came out in a decent amount of time & our server checked on us throughout the night. She did forget a couple of things, but she made herself available and honored our requests, which I appreciate. There is parking on the side of the building, but if you arrive after 11p, lot may be full. There are other nearby places to park though. First time here and I would definitely go again. read more

I was so glad that this pub was in walking distance to our hotel. They have food but we just stopped in for a beer. Their beer selection was so-so. They did, however, have one English Irish Red which was good. It is a large place with several tables. There are also a few tables outside.They have several pool tables but unfortunately no darts. One thing to note, this is a smoking establishment. read more

Hotel we stayed in recommended this place. We had a lot of fun here but the place is terribly smoky, loud, and there is nothing Irish about it. where do I start , unfortunately my experience was horrible, we sat at the bar the bartender Ginger seemed annoyed that we were talking to her, she was ready to go , my friend asked for a manager she said there wasn't one there , to redeem his $10 credit due to a server giving themselves a $10 tip after getting 20% gratuity. she made our drinks and left. Never got the tune melt we ordered, they couldn't figure out how to make it. Order a salad with grilled chicken, salad showed up without the chicken, it came half way thru the salad, salad not worth the hassle. Waitress never came to fill our drinks, had to go up to bar for service, she Obviously has not had any type of training on restaurant service 101. Today was my first time here ; and it won't be my last! Great bartender, great food, and atmosphere. The catfish basket was awesome. The fish was cooked perfectly; crisp on the outside, and moist on the inside; and it had that crunch upon biting . The wings were just as delicious. Plump, crispy, and perfectly sauced. Stopped in at the Irish Bred Pub as I had just flown into Atlanta and was staying near the airport. The place was well kept and had bar seating for about 15, with tables for another 50 people. They also had 2 pool tables. The bathroom was clean. The bar had a nice selection of liquor and about a dozen beers on draft. I had a few beers and got a meal to go. All were good and reasonably priced. If you are staying near Hartsfield Airport and in need of a drink and pub grub, you will enjoy the Irish Bred Pub. They allowed smoking inside, but the ventilation system did a great job, and I never smelled any smoke. Highly recommend. read more

We discovered this place online. But before leaving the hotel, we met a couple (who were heading to Belize the next morning to go on vacation) and asked them to join us for beers and dinner. We all walked to the Pub (1.5 blocks). We all sat at a corner booth. The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered a Guiness and the Fish & Chips (recommended by the waitress. How does this place stay open?? Only 3 tables had patrons at them. Took 15 mins to get 2 beers. After waitress brought our beer she said she'd be back to take our order but never came back. Others ordered and their food came. We were totally ignored. 2 beers were 30.00. They added heavy tip! There isn't anything particularly special or appealing about this place. But your options are limited in this part of town and it also doesn't totally suck. They do have daily drink specials which are nice. Smoking is allowed inside so that will be a deal breaker for some people. My waitress really didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on but we eventually got it figured out. There are TV's and they are turned to ESPN and such. shan't think i'm much interested in a return trip to this place. food, while just ok, was slow. uninspiring. the few folks here are nicely inebriated for barely 5 o'clock. seems a locals-with-nothing-better place more than anything. the place reeked of weed. not a 420-hater, but wow...it's 4pm on a wednesday, and because i chose to eat here, now i'm worried about pi$$ing hot on a random. the overhead music is very not irish. my bar neighbor spent the actual entire time i've been here googling drink recipes for something new to try. some worky dude doing something worky on something ceilingy just fell, a$$ first, from a ladder. no actual $hi+...hit the table on the way down and knocked over some chairs. seems to be ok, but questions were raised about calling 911. read more

The only way this place could be for mistaken for an Irish Pub is if you consider the fact that sell bangers and mash... A smoke-filled club with miserable service and questionable clientele. If you're really hard up, the beer is cold and the food will eventually materialize, but it certainly wont take you back to you time in Dublin. read more
