Great little campground…read more Lots of tree coverage for privacy. Super friendly host. The showers were open for the 2021 season, but the key was with the host and cohort restricted. We. Brought our own water in the trailer and didn't have a chance to give 'er a go. Some walking trails, but not too many. We did go across the highway for visiting Innisfree. No lake access, it's not for swimming anyway.

There were flush toilets and a shower house. Neither were very close to our campsite. You needed to…read moreinput a code which was never something I was able to do on the first try. The showers were a dollar. And mostly sufficient for what you get. They weren't great showers. And full of bugs. The door was often propped open. Probably because there were issues with the code. The sites were nice. The staff were welcoming. Ice cream sandwiches for $1.50. There is an on-site spray park for the kiddos. It requires a nominal fee, but probably not so bad for keeping the kiddos busy.

Near smoky lake. Went to a persaud meteor event in December…read more I found it to be very disorganized. I called in the morning and they said events start at 6pm. I went a bit early to go have dinner at the restaurant. I ordered at the counter and sat down before everyone else. The wait staff proceeded to serve almost half the restaurant despite me ordering first. I had a hunch there was Asian racism here since I noticed another Asian couple completely ignored for over 30 min after sitting down and had to request a menu. But we are in small town alberta near smoky lake so that's completely expected. Once I mentioned something I got my food in less than 1 min which was surprising after waiting an hour for just a bison soup and burger. The food was okay. Potato salad was just boiled potatoes with mayo. The burger was nothing special. Food was a miss that's for sure. And probably won't ever be back. Not knowing what was going on the event made it underwhelming. At 7pm finally an announcement was made. There was an art station, a small speech and a little tent to watch a little show.

This…read morecampground has rules and you are expected to follow them, no speeding, can't be loud, must have a clean campsite, can't use the fire pit as a garbage can...... None of the rules were hard to follow but made our camping experience much more enjoyable. My children loved the upick, park, water slide, and mini golf, and eating pie at the little store, however they are to young to do paintball. Lots of places for walks. Peaceful pond (no swimming allowed reserved for the ducks and other wild birds) Great playground with huge blow up waterslide. Lots of fun to be had on the mini golf and paintball areas. Little café serving handmade pies and beverages. (yummy slurpies) There are also local handmade goods for sale. You can even pick your own saskatoons as it is also a u-pick farm. Had a wonderful time with family and friends. Will definitely return. Loved it.

The K Kenn Campsite was very easy to find, as you can see it from the highway. It's typically used…read morefor RVs, as it has full hookups (water, sewer, electrical), but you can camp there with a tent like we did. The traffic along the highway can be quite loud at all hours, with trucks jake braking in the middle of the night, so bring ear plugs. There are 3 lockable bathrooms you can access, with a toilet, sink, and coin operated showers. The showers are finicky about accepting loonies, so you need to thump them repeatedly until it works. Unfortunately, the water in the shower was lukewarm at best, and the loonie only gets you about 5 minutes. There's coin operated laundry on site as well, but we didn't use it and so can't speak to its value. The campsites were clean, but the garbage cans hadn't been emptied in a while. As people camping in a tent, NOT AN RV, we're giving this place 2 stars because of the traffic noise and the cold showers. If you own an RV that has soundproof walls and a hot shower, this is the spot for you.
