I showed him the receipt for the battery which still had two months worth of warranty coverage. He brought out a tester and said that the battery was fine. I didn't believe him and it turned out I was correct. The Die Hard battery "died". My feeling is he just didn't want to take responsibility or be bothered for a warranty item from another store. Not impressed at all and would not go back there nor would I buy another diehard battery.

I could not get off the back battery plate and asked store rep for assistance. The rep get the old battery out and replaced with new fresh battery in about 1 minute. I asked what I owed and was presented a $17.35 bill. I was not informed there was a charge for putting in the 3.00 battery. I did pay the bill and lodged a complaint with Battery Plus Corporate. To my great surprise Matt, the Store Manager, said he agreed with my assessment, had a meeting to instruct everyone to inform work costs before proceeding, and said that he would give me a full refund which he did on 2-4-2026. I am quite pleased that Matt was so forthright in giving my full purchase price back. I give high kudos to Matt and all the Batteries Plus store personnel. After opening up the back of my TV he discovered that the power board on the TV was fried. He then advised me that to get a replacement power board would be about $350.
