I actually think I was here the last time I was in Scottsdale several years ago but I didn't Yelp it so who can say? Regardless, Mom found some things that she could not leave Arizona without and I picked up some candy for the office and prickly pear honey for my employees. While there Mom tried on some cowboy hats and honestly should have just bought one, but she's never been a hat person. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, from the moment we walked in the door to the checkout process, which is always nice to see--so many souvenir shops have staff that are as likely to stab you as they are to help you. The prices really run the gamut and I suspect some items are priced as loss leaders for others, so just choose wisely and you won't go wrong with your finds at Kactus Jock.

I bought some amazing smelling soap and there was some fun Arizona tourist gear. On the way out, I noticed these fuzzy stuffed animals parked in the spot adjacent to the store. I am not sure why people want to ride these scooters and can't review the actual tour but..... they are funny. Personally, I would not ride one of these but I have laughed at others on these large stuffed motorized scooters touring scottsdale. Beep beep.

But they have everything from hot sauce to sports gear to shoes to purses to moccasins. Fantastic variety of inventory. Ultimately, I bought two bags of pistachios. And this store was so old school, they they wrote out the receipt on paper! A nice step back in time.
