You can touch jellyfish, stingrays and other marine life, and yes, I participated. The best thing at the aquarium are the otters. They are absolute characters. The aquarium even has Tommy the Talking Otter, plus regular river otter feeds and chats. I will say, though, those otters appear to be living their absolute best lives. They may need to speak with their nutritionist. But we like chubby things. Especially when they're adorable. The aquarium is housed inside the historic St. Louis Union Station, which was once one of the country's major passenger rail terminals. Today, the aquarium has thousands of aquatic animals and a very hands on approach. And the Yelp beer tasting event we attended there was seamless. Great setting and great execution. My favorite part was probably the interactive aspect. You aren't just walking around looking at tanks. You're getting your hands wet. This is the opposite of a look don't touch situation.
