The biggest draw is that it's free. It's massive and complex, filled with multiple exhibits which is honestly rare. It's pretty fun and engaging but compared to other science centres, I find it a bit behind. The planetarium (although I didn't get to see) seems cool and I'd say only worth it depending on what's showing. Overall, solid attraction worth seeing at least once (and it costs nothing).

What a nice museum! For the price (free!) it was great. We did pay for the IMAX and we thought it was very reasonably priced.

Free science museum with enough interesting exhibits to spend 2-3 hours keeping your kiddos entertained. We went on a rainy day, so it was a perfect way to spend time indoors while waiting for the thunderstorms to pass us by before we went to the zoo. Lots of hands-on exhibits for the kids and just enough interesting things to see and read to keep the adults entertained. I can't complain at all, the museum is free to enjoy so I'm grateful just to have the space! If the museum doesn't fill up your whole day, the zoo (which is also free) is just a couple minutes down the road.

Had so much fun at the St. Louis science center! There's so much for kids to do. Lots of learning experiences it is free to get in so that was great. It's only $15 for parking or if you find parking on the street it's free there is some similar stuff that you can do while they're it does cost, but it's definitely worth it. I believe we were there for about two hours and my kids! Definitely recommend we are definitely going back.

Came for the sky this night event in the planetarium. It was super easy to buy tickets for it online. The information was all super interesting and relevant. We brought blankets to put over the mats they have to lay on to make it extra comfy.

Waiting on the laser show at the planetarium I decided to browse around the area and this took me back to my childhood memories. Exhibitions are breathtaking, architectural design is amazing and specific to detail. I would love to come back and visit in its entirety. Many directions to venture into and very informative. Souvenir shop is available but it's pretty pricey fyi...Great landmark to the STL community. Located in our beautiful Forest Park! If you know you know!!!!

The best place to spend quality time with your family is a place where you won't get bored because different sections of the experience change. There are many interactive things you can do in this museum. There's a greater chance of finding a free parking spot at the planetarium entrance inside the forest park.

I remember visiting this place as a kid and I haven't even visited in over 15 years! Right when we walked through the door, all the childhood memories came back to me. Right at the entrance there was an amazing Ruby Goldberg-like contraption. I could've stared at it for hours. My 1 year old daughter was in complete awe and could've stayed there too! She's recently been into dinosaurs so I was hoping she would enjoy the large animatron T-Rex and she loved it! There were many things that were still too old for her, but she loved it! I can't wait to go back when she will have a full appreciation of everything there!

This place is always overcrowded and the staff at the food stands are always crabby. There's not enough of free interactions.

We got to see play and do so MANY things all active and the girls loved the play areas ...all of them. The bathrooms were clean and strategically placed...I was pleasantly surprised. The parking is close!...& I liked the exercise...our girls napped so hard after the visit. I am in firm belief that the overall planning and logistics of this place are professionally done & handled well! This venue is a must visit if in the area and you like hands on action. The girls had a blast and that is what matters most!! 10/10 times I will return.. for the price I paid... I could see myself doing this again with a longer stay in the area! Sidenote the people in guest service station were super awesome... All workers that interacted with our family had smiles on their faces and were so helpful. I feel for the price I paid...it was well worth it! We will return! *Questions reach out* Respectfully, Bryan and Family Oklahoma City

I think I had forgot just how many different holes and paths you could take. They've also added more stuff than I remember. They had a section roped off because they're adding yet another section. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the place as much this time around but I did. This is a must-visit when in StL but be warned, you will be tired after playing on this adult playground. The only annoyance this time is that I seem to remember that you could pay one price and get everything. This time, there was the general ticket that gives you access to 3 floors but no roof access. No pinball access. You have to pay extra for those two things. I guess extra charges make sense but just wrap the price all in one. I feel like the floors and roof should be in one ticket. There were a few times that employees came out on the roof to run people off that didn't have the appropriate color of bracelet. If you love having fun, definitely do this when visiting StL.

Admission into the museum is FREE and it's located in Forest Park - the home of the 1904 World's Fair (something which to this day continues to leave its mark on the city). It's a great way to spend a few hours and I genuinely had no idea how much industry and inventions came out of the city. The museum had four core exhibits open at the time I went exploring - one on one of St Louis's historic African American neighborhoods, various St Louis artifacts through the centuries, a children's wing, and of course a whole wing devoted to the 1904 World's Fair. The museum is also home to one of the first ever statues/monuments dedicated to Thomas Jefferson. The museum was a great introduction to the city and state and enabled me to really enjoy the rest of my time in the city. Check it out!

It is not in the nicest of neighborhoods, which would explain why the door is locked and you have to ring a bell to be let in, even during business hours. Inside, there is a gift shop area where you can purchase a variety of miniature items. Many of them are vintage, although I recognized lots of them as pieces I've previously purchased on Amazon too. The word "vintage" is probably the most appropriate here. The whole place has a smell like an antique store and most of the houses look to have been built in the 1970's-1990's. There are many intricate houses and dioramas, so many things to look at! My personal style is more modern rather than grandma-chic, but I definitely appreciate the love and attention that went into building each of these pieces. Most of them are donated from family members when the artist leaves an estate behind. It was a really fun visit and I'm glad to have checked out the museum.
