I hadn't been to see a acupuncturist before, as I'm a little nervous about needles, but Fatima made me feel very relaxed and talked me through each session also working with the breath. We also did some relaxing meditations to finish. The sessions with Fatima helped ease the nausea but also generally made me feel more relaxed and comfortable about pregnancy which I found really helpful, especially for balancing getting used to being pregnant with having a full time job. Although I had originally focussed on treating the nausea, I also had a tight shoulder that had been bothering me for c. 1 year. Fatima gently worked on relieving that over a couple of sessions. I found the acupuncture gave me more lasting relief than the regular massages I had been having. Will definitely be back to see you again in the future!

Though there's one thing I dislike is the bitter taste of the herbs, I can stand it with some dried fruits after that. I am 22 and have been having menstrual disorder since 15 to 16. My period comes irregularly (the longest has been 4 months!) and I start to have more and more pimples on my face. I was recommended to visit Dr. Lui by my aunt. She had 5 months treatment there after 3 times failure of IVF and I am more than happy to have a baby niece! She is 1 yr old now! My aunt got pregnant naturally !!! He put me at ease by giving me practical advice and by explaining why and how he would use each acupuncture point. He also addressed diet and herbs, which were important to me. I left my first treatment feeling encouraged, optimistic, and more cared for than I had with previous practitioners. I started seeing him weekly and was amazed when only two months later I was able to shift my care from infertility treatment to maternity treatment! The pain in my back comes and goes and often my muscles get so stiff in my neck that I can hardly turn my head. Just had a dreadful massage here. After waiting 10 minutes a woman rushed in to do my nails, did…read moreone hand and then rushed out again. A man working on the woman next to me slid over to finish my nails but was clearly very rushed and did the bare minimum - didn't push back cuticles even when I asked, no cuticle oil or lotion, very rushed. Then I had only dried my nails for 2 minutes when another employee came over, rubbed my nails to see how dry they were, and aggressively sprayed them with an aerosol, which smudged the polish. The employees were all too busy with other clients so I grabbed the varnish bottle and tried to fix it myself, but then it was too thick and as soon as I got home rubbed off. Terrible and with all the salons in Kingston I won't be returning here again.
