My BFF and I stayed at this wonderful Victorian Bed and Breakfast during the 100 mile yard sale…read more(7/16-7/19), and Peggy's house, did NOT disappoint!  Peggy is the owner/Inn Keeper and merits a thousand thank you' s for making our stay incredible!  The online photos of the home, do NOT do it justice! Every inch of this home was decorated with history, memories, and love.  (on top of this, its IMMACULATELY clean!)   We stayed in Lydias room (Peggy's daughter) which was perfect with the two beds. We had a 'corner' of the second floor that included our own bathroom and provided quite a bit of privacy if we so wished.  The linens matched the décor, and were soft, smelled OUT of this WORLD, and promoted a great nights rest for us both!   We opted out of breakfast for (2) mornings as we had an AGENDA to be at these yard sales by 0800!! haha   Peggy took it upon herself to make us (2) lunch bags, full of yogurt, sandwich, fruit and all out love for the day!  Our third morning we were blessed to have breakfast with Peggy and 3 other house guests who were also visiting for the yard sale.  You put 5 women at this beautiful breakfast table + Peggy with NO CELL phones.... Provided such a human connection within the 6 of us, it was remarkable!   God willing we will be back - the entire experience was a memory I will never ever forget. Thank you Peggy, for the best weekend EVER with my BFF!!!

Plenty of big fluffy towels, a bathroom counter and medicine cabinet full of toiletries (including those you may have forgotten!), excellent water pressure, and a very clever "privacy curtain" to wall off the room we were staying in with our bathroom (see picture). Our bedroom had several items of an unusual shade of subtle purple that clearly came from different places and times. "Good eye!" my daughter exclaimed when noticing this, and this is evident throughout the house. Our bathroom had a charming balcony with tables and chairs for lounging in warmer weather (see picture). We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again if ever again we're in the vicinity.

They are wonderful! They do anything they can to make their guests feel like they belong. If you are looking for great repartee or to enjoy a quiet evening alone, either way, they will happily oblige. Then there is the food! Everything is made from scratch...including the yogurt! Finally, there is the house itself. Enjoy mechanical music? Boy have they got it! There are at least four grand reproducing pianos, a pianola, a full player organ, numerous rare music boxes, and victrolas and radios of every sort. Then there is the collection of rare clocks...to many to count. During the summer, you will probably receive a tour of the spectacular antique car collection which includes two Franklin Automobiles and an American LaFrance roadster, to name a few. By the way, each suite is clean and well appointed and boasts a unique theme! Go, enjoy, have fun!!!

This place is awesome! The moment we got there the staff was so friendly (like favorite cousin…read morefriendly not fake friendly). She told us all about upcoming stuff in the area and just joked around and made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful! It was actually much bigger than the online pictures show. The garden area was so peaceful and beautiful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to come back and stay again. As for the claims it is haunted, after our 1 night stay I absolutely believe it!

We ended up here by accident; we are driving cross country and decided we didn't want to drive all the way to Scranton. I used a dog friendly app, and they have lodges that accept dogs for a $10 fee. Lodge has a whirlpool bathtub as well as a shower, bunk beds built into the wall, comfy couch, stocked with snacks for sale for $1, and a bedroom with a queen bed. They serve breakfast but we were leaving too early to enjoy it. Seriously tempted to drive back to pick it up lol. The owners stayed up to receive us since we came in late, and it was very appreciated. Dog friendly and pointed out areas he could walk around. I definitely want to make a trip back! The price is also a great deal.

The home was built in 1989 with efficiencies for a bed and breakfast and does not disappoint! Set back and located off of Bee Line Highway next to the Treasure Lake entrance provides ample accessibility to and from Dubois and the surrounding areas of Clearfield and Jefferson county. The entrance to the Inn is very welcoming and inviting with lamppost lines of light guiding you to a cute little narrow creek run along the left of the property. The grounds are well kept and fun to admire. The Inn is large and cozy. The suites are great accomodation for a couple or individual and they do have a larger suite for small families. Ample parking available and relaxation abound. The roommate rates are very affordable for all travelers and I have to say the breakfast is quite tasty! impeccable service and attention to detail. I will be staying here again.
