It was quite large, immaculate inside, with a huge assortment of fresh foods (sandwiches, baked items, salads) and beverages. I thought to myself, if I had to use the washroom (which, thankfully, I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate about asking to use the bathroom here. Note that I usually avoid gas station bathrooms LIKE THE PLAGUE. But here, the store was so clean and orderly, I'd use the washroom in a heartbeat if needed). I saw some beautifully packaged Vermont maple syrup on sale for a super price, and I got a few for gifts for friends back in Seattle, along with some fresh foods for the road for the kiddies and excellent coffee for myself. They diagnosed the problem immediately and when I reached out to Shearer to see if they wanted to make it right, they said they would look into it and have since ghosted me. I will buy more VW's but not from Shearer. No Shearer dealership will get my money ever, and my average is 1 new car a year. A strange business model.
