I don't even know where to begin on the problems with this school. I'll put it this way: imagine the most antiquated, backwards, anti-intellectual caricature of Christian culture that some fedora-wearing atheist redditor could come up with in his wildest daydreams. Then multiply that by two. If you were educated at Isaac Newton, you may find the multiplication part difficult, but bear with me. This school is a veritable cornucopia of hypocrisy and backwardness built on a throne of deceit and lies. Whatever stereotype about Christian schools exists, it's probably embodied by INCA - from cartoonishly wicked administrators to gay-bashing fornicating students to young-earth creationist crackpots, this school has an unparalleled record of finding every negative stereotype about Christians and filling it. Personally, I would rather go to a school that had an unparalleled record of academic excellence or Christlike conduct, but you can't have everything I suppose. In all seriousness, I have no idea how a school like this is even legal from an academic standpoint. The students are taught more about young-earth creationism than actual science and more about the evils of homosexuality and pre-marital sex than Jesus. There are several students who struggle with basic math because the administrators ignored a huge gap in the fundamentalist math curriculum despite multiple complaints because they didn't want their students turning into degenerate liberals from secular math exposure (SME). To their credit, most of the teachers are awesome, but basically all the good ones are leaving because the administration gets absolutely furious when they have the audacious audacity to assign more than three hours of homework per week because it makes some of the less mentally abled students cry. Interestingly, despite presenting themselves as more conservative than an American flag dipped in barbecue sauce and flown on the back of an eagle, the school has a very stereotypically liberal approach to students of different abilities. Instead of forcing the less intelligent or hard-working students to adapt to the pace like normal people, they force the teachers to slow the whole class down to the pace of the slowest students. Even the silliest and slothiest students got A's for almost every assignment, but almost everyone I knew was an objectively mediocre writer who received average scores on all standardized tests of academic achievement. Consequently, almost everyone had a GPA of 4.3 or so despite doing little work. Again, the teachers were awesome and this was not their fault - this is the fault of a rampant culture of mandatory grade inflation. However, admissions officers are not fooled by this - there is not a single INCA alumni who has ever attended even a moderately selective college. Notably, we're not allowed to supplement our INCA classes with more rigorous classes if those classes are already offered at the school. For example, if I wanted to take an AP class to get into a secular college, this would not be allowed since the fundamentalist young-earth creationist version of the subject is already offered there. This kind of curriculum is not at all impressive to a secular admissions officer. It would be fine if INCA had rigorous classes, but after talking to some people who still went there, I would estimate that an INCA class covers about 50-60% of the content of my college prep class in the same amount of time. This is shameful. When I dropped out of INCA to do actual college prep classes, it was an enormous adjustment because the real world does not actually slow down to accommodate the less competent. I would say that one college prep class was as rigorous as three of my hardest INCA classes combined (note that this would be different if the teachers were allowed to teach). I genuinely fear for my classmates because they won't adjust to normal course rigor until their first year of college, but then again, they've learned to cheat exceptionally well so they'll probably do just fine. Many students openly talk about plagiarism, having their phones in their laps during FINAL exams (!), and sending messages to themselves (also during final exams that go on their transcript) on their apple watches. The administration is also utterly incompetent at best and did not do a thing about the cheating problem despite being warned about it multiple times. Many families have left because of this. The students are not much better - I would estimate that gossip was the topic of 80-90% of the conversations, and most are so cliquey that they cannot be bothered to treat people outside their social circle with basic human decency. They openly mock the 'Christlike character' aspect of the school and are extremely rude to any teacher who calls them out, but they know how to be fake nice in front of other adults. It's giving Romans 3:13 vibes when it should be giving Colossians 3:12 vibes. read more

Isaac Newton has been an absolute answer to prayer for our family. I was nervous to put my children into school, not knowing anyone, but I made such wonderful connections that helped me ease into it. My husband and I are so thankful for a school that keeps Jesus as the center, in every subject. We are also impressed with the academic excellence. I thank God for a safe place that I can send my children, knowing the foundation that has been started in them at home with continue to be nurtured and added to while they are at learning at school. I appreciate all the staff and administration, and I am so happy that they have a high school that all 4 of my children will attend as well. Our kids have been enrolled in INCA for two years, and we have been more than satisfied with the school, the faculty, and the quality of our children's education. This is a Christian School with a Biblical Worldview and conservative values. we could not homeschool and INCA was the best school we could find to trust with our children. I only gave 4 stars because as a new family last year we did not receive a lot of communication from the school itself. Thankfully, the parent community is very helpful and we knew a few other families that helped us to figure things out. That said, there are few places and people I trust with my kids, so INCA is on a very short list! read more

I've been around schools, public, private, Christian, and secular, for a very long time, professionally, as a student, and as a parent. I have never known a school with such incredible leadership, such a strong commitment to their mission, such a commitment to Jesus Christ, as Isaac Newton Christian Academy. They are simply incredible. Academic excellence and Christlike Character are more than a slogan, they are the very values that drive the school. At Isaac Newton, they School like champs and make Jesus proud, and that's all I could ever ask for in my daughters' school. read more

Our son is in his first year at Isaac and I can already see how much they care about his learning and I also can see how much he is learning about Jesus. He reminds us to pray before meals and his behavior has gotten better. They set expectations to act as Jesus would and hold the kids to that. Could not recommend this school enough to anyone looking for an amazing educational environment for their kids. Public school are not holding kids accountable these days and behavior in those schools shows that. read more

Absolutely recommend Isaac Newton Christian Academy to any family looking for help building their children's faith. I am amazed at how far my son has grown in the short time he has been there. The staff are awesome to work with, friendly and patient. read more
