After much soul searching, I made the decision to move my life from Oregon to Seattle. Where I lived in Oregon was just not the right fit. But in order to pull off this significant life change at this time in my life, I needed an agent who LISTENDED POWERFULLY and deeply, who took the time to understand my situation, who comprehended my goals. We were so disappointed with the entire experience of selling our home with the Greg Stamolis…read moreWindermere office. We started with a different Windermere agent, who we got to know and were comfortable working with. We wanted to list our home near the price we hoped to get for it. Bill said to list it for 25-30k less in hopes of generating a price war. It was not really our desire to do that, but we were finally convinced. Then Bill went on vacation and handed us off to Greg with some type of split commission agreement. Promises were made that the service would be great, the pricing was right, and the plan was good. But it did not turn out that way. We should have stuck to our instincts. We were pressured into paying $1200 to stage our home, being told over and over that this was going to make for a stronger open house. After the underwhelming open house, we were informed by our neighbors that the assistants who ran it were so late that people gave up waiting, and then during the open house, were busy with their iPhones and not engaging with potential buyers. We got 2 offers, only one of them was solid. Our first instinct was to take the house off the market and re-list it at the price we originally wanted. As they did not want to do that we wound up having to negotiate with our own 'team'. It went on and on and finally we decided that we weren't in a position to start over and we took the offer. Excuses given for the disappointing outcome included that we waited too long in the season. Another was that our townhouse was a bit older and people want modern. But the week after we sold, an absolute comparable came on the market. Two blocks away, built the same year, same sq. ft, same layout, same finishes (possibly same builder). They asked 15k more than we did, they got 40k more than we did. Next time, if there is a next time (we are happily renting now), we would find agents who are better listeners, harder workers and just plain better at their jobs.

Robert had a zoom call with my girlfriend and I to discuss the entire process. He put my concerns at ease and went to work scoping out homes with my criteria in mind. We must have looked at a dozen or so homes. Robert was extremely patient and Robert proved himself knowledgeable about every building we visited (and many others that we asked about). His opinion on the value and pros and cons of each individual unit as well as the overall market were priceless as we made our decision. Throughout the contingency process, Robert was extremely helpful with reviewing the documents. As many people likely know, these can get you into a lot of trouble if there are any irregularities. Robert was able to flag any unusual items to my attention. Lastly, after we closed, Robert continued to check in with us to make sure any lingering questions had been resolved. I am happy to say that our home buying process was seamless thanks to Robert. I will be going back to him for all my future real estate needs. Homes come and go, but a good realtor is forever.

After moving in, she gave us a home warranty for the first year but we never received the packet in the mail because she never paid for it. We regret hiring her! Extremely unprofessional!
