I have had my taxes done in the past by Deloitte, Jackson Hewitt, H&R and have even done them myself on TurboTax for a few years. That is until I took my TurboTax returns that I had filled out myself back in 2017, though not yet submitted to give to Patrick to see if he was able to get me back an additional amount more, he was able to get back a decent amount more, all the while staying conservative, per my request. I had promised him I would switch to him if he could get me more than I could on my own. He delivered. Patrick's always the friendliest, amenable, positive, easy going, honest and most trustworthy accountant I have ever met. He's been doing my taxes ever since. He's always straight forward, will tell you what documents he needs, is very clear and succinct about the taxable amounts, applicable deductions. Before he has you sign the form to send for federal and state taxes, he will run through the form and explain any questions that might come up. He does it so quick, makes me think he could do it in his sleep, he's so amazingly fast. Then again he does this daily and does as many as 10 a day. He is a hard worker, knows his stuff and it shows. Patrick is surely to become your best friend. He will even help educate you amid and along your tax process. He's clear about his forms of payments: checks or credit cards are accepted. He will explain the rates before or afterwards, your preference. It will feel like a good friend is handling your taxes. You will never regret making this pivotal move to have your taxes done by the Magi of CPAs. He's a wizard and I am so grateful to know him and trust my taxes to him.

Jenkins sends me a form to fill out in advance, I save my receipts and write down my expenses and income. If I stay organized throughout the year the process with Jenkins & Company is pretty simple. I was going through a transitional time in my life and had a few questions regarding taking clinical classes out of state to further my profession. The classes were over $10,000 and I wanted to know if and how it would impact my taxes. The older white male employee who was going to do my taxes seemed highly irritated at my questions and also suspicious. I admit I was not dressed professionally and had probably just got out of my garden, but I'm paying him, so I wasn't concerned. I've got no shame in my game and was multitasking that day. He went on to ask me about my son who had turned 18 that prior year and if he was in college. Currently he wasn't in college. But, he had went to community college for 1 semester the year prior and decided it wasn't for him. The mans reaction was so offensive, rolling his eyes and shaking his head and asking me if I had proof. Since my son was already 18 and he's my first child I had no idea I needed to take his documents. I told him I could get the info and return if it was necessary, but questioned why it would be necessary since I wasn't claiming my son. I honestly wasn't as concerned with 1 term of community college as I was about my expensive 10,000 clinical. My son was working and doing his own taxes anyway. From this jerks reaction I flat out asked him, "Do you think I'm lying?!!!!". He said, YES! I was SO INSULTED!!!!! Who has such low opinions of people that they question 1 term of community college with such contempt! Absurd behavior. I highly doubt he would have treated another man this way. Needless to say I left at once. This mans behavior was strange and classless. Beware of him. I had my taxes prepared here a year before this episode that was adequate. But, the chance of ever encountering this jerk again no way! I'd rather have a root canal.
