Once in a while the rare worker with an excellent work ethic crosses my threshold. I have found that a job well done has been the exception and not the rule during my almost 13 years in Orlando. Last week we were in the process of listing our home for sale. I wanted to have the house power washed and began a search for someone who could help me with short notice. For several years I used someone who did an average job for me, but whose drinking came to the job with him the last time I used him. Another person blasted a pavered path on the side of the house with a nozzle attachment and the path had to be re-set. The last time we had the house power washed, the guy was in such a hurry and didn't clean the front path or the sidewalk as was scheduled. His work was not satisfactory. In my search for someone last week, I looked on Angie's list, Yelp and then a search on Craigslist produced the name of a power wash company called, IShine. I printed out the IShine advertisement along with several others I found and made calls to each one of them. When I called IShine and spoke with Jason, I liked his polite manner on the phone. He would look at our home on-line and calculate the price of the job and get back to me in 10 minutes time. The quote was to include our 3800 square foot single level home with a large pavered patio, lanai, pavered drive, front and side paths, sidewalk and a stucco mailbox. Jason phoned me back as he promised he would. I decided to give the job to him. He would be at my house at 8:00 am on the day he was scheduled. He was here on-time and got right to work with his assistant, who turned out to be his wife. Mildew was treated prior to washing pavered areas. Furniture was moved...as was the barbecue grill and a large PVC storage box...so that the patio beneath and behind them was also washed. I watched Jason and his wife clean the patio, over and over again until they were satisfied with how it looked. They worked diligently for over 5 hours. Charter Cablevision happened to be laying permanent cable on our section of our road that day. Areas of sod were cut to do this job. The sidewalk was left soiled with dirt and sand. Jason and his wife cleaned the sidewalk last. They even tamped down the areas of sod and gave them some extra water. Our property looks great! I am taking the time to write this lengthy review so that anyone who is looking for someone to power wash their house...they will know that one of IShine's customer's is so pleased with the company's work that she will take the time to sit and write this review. I finally found a pressure washer I will definitely call back and will highly recommend to anyone needing their house, driveway, sidewalks and pool cages or patio furniture cleaned! I was very impressed with Jason, the owner and operator behind this business. He answered his phone, got back to me immediately with a quote for the work I wanted done, arrived 10 minutes prior to our appointment time and immediately got to work after reviewing our needs. As we both walked around the house, we noticed a few more areas that were in need of cleaning and Jason added those with no additional fee! My pool cage in particular was covered in red brick dust after just having some new brick paver walkways laid and that was cleaned to perfection. Jason was very fastidious and I was amazed at how much better everything looked after he was done, given the fact that we had just had the whole house pressure cleaned 3 months earlier by a different company! These gentlemen did an EXCELLENT job on my home, and left it looking brand new. The home had not been cleaned for a couple of years since purchase, and was honestly quite filthy with dirt and mold accumulation due to Florida weather and previous tenants not carefully taking care of the property's exterior. Jason and Lais power washed our home about 2 years ago; and this week they did the whole house, roof, lanai and sealed the lanai and driveway. I would not have had them back if they had not done such a tremendous job 2 years ago. They moved all my outdoor furniture in and out--- their work ethic is classic- dictionary definition! they did not rush the work based on weather- while i was ready to get my lanai back, they said, nope- we need to wait 24 hours- The team has a rhythm and work well together. My folks would always offer water and snacks to work teams- pie, oranges, hydroponic lettuce and rosemary was shared in keeping with my parent's tradition. Outstanding results!! Jason and his wife do a phenomenal job!! I originally hired him to pressure wash my driveway and front walkway. While he was there, I also had him clean the gutters both inside and outside. The results were amazing!! I was so happy with the work that I called him back to clean my pool screen enclosure and pressure wash the paver decking. Jason and his wife are great! I have a beautiful PVC fence around my property, that after a year of mowing gets grass stained on the bottom panels and grungy. This is the second year I have had them come out to clean our fence. Really nice couple and they go the extra mile without even asking. I.E. the door to my shed is white and turns green from grass stains and he always cleans that as well. No extra charge, didn't even think to ask if he would clean it...just took the initiative. He then spent an entire day pressure washing my driveway, pool deck, patio and pool screen, working extremely hard to clear the screen of a year's worth of accumulated pine straw. I really made a good choice when I chose iShine Pressure Washing for my small pressure washing job, especially since another company showed no interest in actually doing the job, even after they came and quoted it. (Their quote was about $200 higher, too!) I was very pleased with the work done by Jason and his partner. We have a pretty long driveway with a walkway to the front door. It was looking quite dark from weather, dirt and some mildew buildup. iShine came out and did a great job of cleaning and treating it.
