My problem before coming to MBHPC was that I would go too hard in the gym and then be too sore to even move the next couple of weeks. This place is seriously perfect for any athlete, person with an athletic past, or anyone who is trying to get fit and healthy for the first time. The owners, Greg and Brenda, offer a unique, modern and safe Senior Fitness center that provides a needed service to Seniors in the Little River/Calabash/North Myrtle Beach area. Both are extremely committed and attentive to each person's needs and abilities and adjust the training program for each, as needed. The owners also set up each machine for you when you arrive and track your progress after each workout, saving valuable workout time. We have never had to wait for equipment to work out when we arrive which means you can successfully complete your training in as little as 1/2 hour and be on your way for the rest of your day. I highly recommend that if you are a Senior that you check out Push-Pull if you are looking to improve your overall health in a safe and encouraging environment.

Owner and sidekick are unfriendly and unprofessional ( especially when confronted with issues/suggestions). There is zero culture for picking up after oneself (including trainers). Wi-Fi is iffy, at best (I use an online training program). Save your money...plenty of worthwhile gyms in this area.

The bathrooms are well-maintained and smell good. The other members that I have met are really nice and at the very least you get a "good morning" Or a head nod. Ego is low when you come in. There's not a holier than thou attitude so that's a win. I started coming here because they have 2 water rowers and I can't currently be on the water, but the boxing fitness classes are a lot of fun and push you. 10/10 would recommend.
