It isn't the biggest space which is nice and cozy, especially in the chapel just on the Uptown side of the main church. This building is the 2nd location for the Cathedral and was constructed in 1886. I've always felt very welcomed here when I've attended services and like that it seems to be a good mix of people. Protip: watch out for random street people who attend services and then ask for a handout just after the priests wishes you a blessed day.

Chris' music and enthusiasm surrounding the celebration of Christmas were a perfect start to the holiday season. :) I highly recommend it! I really need a church to have a historic building to feel at home, and this is the closest one to where I live that has a real community feeling. We loved the split of an early and late service as we travel a lot and sometime work Saturday nights. The preaching was pretty good, it is a diverse and welcoming church of about 50-60 people in the service. They have open communion and a children's ministry during the preaching section. The music is decent but not that polished some of the songs you can hear on Lifesongs but some were unfamiliar and more folksy hymny. I love the way the end service and think it is a solid option for someone who prefers solid bible based teaching in a comfortable relaxed open environment.

The area outside the Cathedral is crawling with street performers and artists. Which adds to the experience. Inside the church is equally beautiful. There are high ornate ceilings, detailed sculptures and some of the most beautiful stained glass windows I've ever seen. There is also a giant organ featured up on the balcony. Also it should be mentioned there is very well air conditioned which is a great escape in the summer months. It's a stunning place to visit.

The second church burned down in 1788 and was largely rebuilt anew by the 1850's. St Louis Cathedral is also said to be haunted by several spirits, including Père Antoine. Père was a friar of the church who is also buried in the church. It is said the his apparition appears, holding a candle, during Christmas Midnight Mass on the left side of the alter. St Louis Cathedral is a beautiful house of worship with a lot of history behind it. If you have a chance to walk around and take it all in, I highly recommend it. Please, please show respect and reverence and conduct yourself in silence and hushed tones. 5 stars.

His message was very relatable, while still lining up with God's word. He was teaching, not just preaching. I was impressed with the fact that the church is rather large and he still managed to shake peoples hands during offering time. I enjoyed the praise and worship and the greeters/ushers were kind. Overall, the church had a positive atmosphere. A family type of energy that made me feel very comfortable. There was a mixture of old and young, casual and dressy, traditional and new aged, and so on. I appreciate the fact that church was quick and to the point. Service was about an hour and a half which is a big plus. I couldn't give it 5 stars because parking was HECTIC and the sanctuary seems to be too small for the amount of members. They had to set up chairs in the vestibule. Other than that, I had an awesome time in the Lord and I plan to visit again!

Visited this ministry on Sunday and experienced a move of God like no other. The atmosphere was…read moresaturated in ALL THINGS Holy Spirit!!!! Overseer Herbert & Prophetess Beverly Lewis are so warm and welcoming, I immediately felt like a homey-like presence in their midst. The ministry's staff are also very welcoming, friendly and embracing... what runs FROM the heart flows TO the heart & I felt JUST THAT. Service started at 9am and we were out by 10:30a. I can honestly say that that time FLEW by. By the time I was seated, taking part in the worship service, I looked up and we were being dismissed. The song service is on point. They sing praises unto the Lord and all the anointing that's in the musical staff comes right out during the service. COVID precautions ARE being taken. Masks for all attendees and if you don't have one, they provide one for you. Located in a strip mall, there's ample parking. Good thing is that most of the businesses are closed on Sunday, so the parking lot is essentially all for the ministry. Praise God, I plan to return, as this was a lovely experience.
