Came during the week on a Tues and it was not too crowded, which was a welcome treat as I do not like shopping malls at all (nor shopping in general). I really enjoyed this mall, though, as it has a bit of everything including some non USA stores. Mall doesn't look like much from the outside and you cannot tell (at least from our entrance) that it looks like a mall until you get outside. Very clean, upscale, and has something for everyone.

I did find that it was a comparable to other boutiques back in Florida. It's the 11% tax that is annoying. The upstairs has El Mercado and it is literally an upscale food court. I wish I could've eaten here every single day I stayed in San Juan. There were many different options such as Chinese, Italian, and Hispanic foods. There was a really fun bar up there, as well as a crêpe maker. I ate at Finco and it was delicious I will definitely make it a priority to eat there more than once next time around. There was live music on Friday and there is a Fogo De Chao as well as a blue martini.

I found this Walmart to be a good experience overall. It had everything we needed during our stay…read morein San Juan. One thing to keep in mind is that this location is much smaller than many Walmart stores on the mainland, so don't expect a huge Supercenter experience. That said, it was well-stocked and easy to navigate. The most interesting part of the experience was the checkout process. When you select how many plastic bags you want, an employee standing nearby actually hands you the exact number of bags you requested instead of letting you take them yourself. It caught me off guard at first, but I assume it's a measure to prevent people from taking extra bags. It's a little unusual if you're not from the area, but certainly not a big deal. Overall, this is a solid Walmart and a convenient stop if you're visiting San Juan and need to pick up essentials. It may be smaller and have a few practices that are different from what mainland shoppers are used to, but the store was clean, organized, and served our family well during our trip.

This location was a little more spacious than the other one and filled with all sorts of cool surf apparel. T-shirts (long and short sleeve), swimsuits(men's and women's), shoes, skateboard accessories, surf boards ..... a surf lovers paradise! Staff here were really friendly and took great care of us. Even tried to help us find a different size of a shirt we were looking for. Prices are a little bit more on the pricy side, but think of this as a really nice Surf Shop Boutique. Store is well organized and clean. Things are displayed well and it's easy to shop for stuff. I'd return here for sure. Check them out!
