It actually began when I booked my stay, and due to poor communication and thoroughness (even when I went back to double check before booking my fight), there was a major snafu which the Dr. did not take responsibility for. Not to mention the terrible miscommunication in person with Dr. Baylac, which was unacceptable and no way to conduct business or speak to patrons. Additionally, this place is NOT one for healing, the environment has a massively toxic energy. The doctor should not be practicing any longer and this place is definitely not worth the money. I do not recommend this place at all.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and Dr Baylac & her team are amazing, caring, knowledgeable, and super supportive & helpful. They've also cultivated a warm community feel with other "retreaters" who are there. The fast finished with Dr Baylac coaching me through mindfully eating the most delicious watermelon I've ever tasted. I hope to go back in the future -- great gains in only 5 days & wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
