Had a taste for island food. Was between curry goat and oxtails. Decided on oxtails, sides were rice and peas, cabbage and a side of apple cobbler. Total 24.00 That wasnt it, at all. First of all it should be a crime to cook desserts without butter. Too much nutmeg, not enough cinnamon. Its ok. I knew better though. The portions were small. Not whats typical at jerk places. The flavors just werent there. The oxtail gravy was super thin and watery. The cabbage was bland. Oveeall, edible. But, i woukd go back for it. Step your game up. Premium prices should yield premium food. I normally have enough food for 2 meals at jeek places. Not here. I guess jerk villa and jerk choice spoiled me. read more

What I ordered vs what I got is totally DESPICABLE!!! I will never come back or order from this place again, I didn't receive what I ordered from this restaurant. I asked for jerk tilapia and they sent through DoorDash Oxtails, not what I asked for, then once I called the restaurant back to find out why, the cashier stated that DoorDash was supposed to contact me because they didn't have what I wanted... that's not DoorDash responsibility that's the restaurant responsibility, I called the restaurant back and the manager had a total attitude, speaking over me and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. Omg just ordered on uber eats this food is awful. This food doesn't taste like real jerk and just poorly made. I ordered the jerk catfish dinner. The rice and beans were horrible the bean were not fully cooked and taste hard and no seasoning. The cabbage was basic, and the catfish wasn't grilled or smoked just tasted maybe baked. Good news the food came hot and tasted decent. Bad news is of the 3 items I ordered one was missing and the other entree had two incorrect sides and a missing side. For the sides I ordered macaroni and cheese, cabbage and plantains and I received yams and collard greens. They also have no idea what their pricing is on DoorDash which is apparently meaningfully lower than at the restaurant. They also don't answer the phone. read more

Great customer service, friendly staff but COMPLETELY TASTELESS FOOD! I ordered Jerk shrimp, cabbage, beans & rice, and mac and cheese. None of my food was seasoned, I didn't taste a hint if salt or spice. The cooks need to be retrained, maybe go to the Caribbean and shadow a couple of cooks. I tried this fir the 1st time and when I tell you it was fresh and very large quantities of food. The greens, cabbage, red beans and rice and Mac and cheese were all excellent. The chicken was delicious, moist and just the right amount of sauce. I also got dessert and the peach cobbler was almost as good as my moms. That's saying a lot! Jerk chicken-- more like jerk and chicken. I went in because I was craving jerk chicken and the server had a horrible attitude. I asked what were the sides that were available, and she answered: "Pick anything I don't know." My sister and I asked, "Is there a list?" She replied "I don't know choose anything we have it." It was an uncomfortable and rude experience. We later saw a deal that said jerk chicken and red beans and rice and approached her about not telling us. She replied, "I TOLD you to choose anything," in a very condescending way. The food was decent. Service was horrendous. read more

Not a fan of this place, unfortunately. Was really craving jerk chicken, so I wandered in and was excited to see they had it. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. Sadly, the full order of jerk chicken (dark meat) was really sub-par. Jerk chicken is traditionally seasoned well and has a smoky flavor with a sauce that contains some sort of pepper (traditionally scotch bonnet peppers). This was not the case here. The sauce tasted like it was out of a jar--a jar that didn't contain a very good sauce. The chicken was sadly dry and really underwhelming. The cashier was very rude and she was not helpful at all. My sister and I decided to check this place out after craving jerk chicken. Only to find out that it's attached to Kenny's Ribs and Chicken, now .. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing but by this being connected, it was hard to see what the menu for jerk chicken was versus ribs. When we asked the cashier about the chicken and the sides she replied "I don't know just pick one".. Of course this being out first time we were like "well we don't know so can you show us" and she said "I don't know.. Just pick one we have everything". Clearly, lol..
