We mulled over the option of replacing the whole lift or just replacing the gearboxes and motors on our current lift. The prices for the repair were very reasonable and I decided to go that route. After deciding and giving Dave a call the new parts came the next day and were installed that afternoon. Dave even gave me the names of some electricians to wire up the new motors. The electrical company came out the same day as the install and worked with the Elite Marine staff to get the new motors working. Given the excellent service I also had them replace my cables given they were damaged. After installing the cables they greased all the parts of the lift. Really outstanding service all around. Elite Marine went above and beyond for this repair. I will definitely use them again for any maintenance or repair of my lift. I highly recommend.

We debated between a new sea wall and putting rip rap in. In the end, we decided on rip rap as being the more permanent solution and hired Gulfside to do the work. They were professional. They were responsive to our needs and addressed concerns promptly and completely. We were completely satisfied with their work and five years on still pleased that we made the right decision. We are just now hiring Gulfside again to do a new project for us. We went back to Gulfside due to the great job done earlier and are super pleased with Paul Kelley, Drew Beard, and Wallace. The crew then were very talented and professional and easily tackled this fair sized repair project in a few days. We were very pleased with the quality and cost of the work so recently now in 2024 when wanting to add a new 13,000lb boat lift, I had contacted Tyson Rawson @ Edge again for an estimate and some input to my new project. We had a few localized permit issues (no fault of Edge) resulting in some plan modifications requiring a variance that slightly delayed the project but through the concerted efforts of Edge managed to get approval with a modest setback. The construction crew of three, Cameron, Mike and Steve along with their crane equipped barge made short work of the needed modifications to prepare the existing dock for the lift installation. I was impressed by their skill & experience and was exceptionally pleased with the final outcome! They did a great job! After finishing I contacted an electrical contractor that wired the power infrastructure and "boom" - I was in business. After using Edge Marine Construction now TWICE, I highly recommend them being a consideration in any local dock or marine related projects, they are Prompt, Courteous, Professional, Knowledgeable and Reliable. This man came in saying he was qualified to do sheetrock repair where a tree had fell on the roof…read moreand we had lots of damage there was also the roof to be repaired which he brought somebody else in on they never finished the job and took advantage of the 70-year-old man with the beginning of Alzheimer's to get all the money out of him before the job was finished needless to say they never finished the job they kept saying they were going to so we let them do some work on the bathroom which was very small and needed to totally remodeled he left us with a brand new tub that won't hold water sheet rock dust all over everything, screws that have not been mudded or sanded seams of the sheetrock are so offset that there's no way to fix it rather than tearing everything out and starting over he just does not know what he's doing I can float out sheetrock I can hang sheetrock mud sheetrock and hand and float it out and he kept telling me because I knew construction finished. I left the bad review he notified my husband today that the remaining balance of $900 is due and it's not paid within 6 months he will see the lean against the property yet he hasn't even finished the job. I would not hire this man again and I recommend that no one else has him because he is inexperienced he has two 21 and 23 year old boys that he leaves on the job by their self and they don't know what they're doing any better than he does and he does. Oh and I forgot to mention the toilet moved from side to side it wasn't fastened down. Everyday he would tell us he would be through the next day and I would tell him there's no way you have too much to do and I would show him the repairs that he did not do right and tell him to do the rest of them right or it was not going to fly with me he ignored me so when he said the job was finished and I said no they're screws up there that haven't even been mudded you still haven't caulked the windows I pointed out to you and you said you would fix . Before he went to Lowe's I showed him that I had the bathroom faucet and a touch toe stopper for the brand new tub he said okay when he came back he had a whole faucet pack he didn't put in the strainer he didn't put in the stopper although we asked him repeatedly to he doesn't listen to his clients his customers he doesn't really care what they say and he gives you a Pity poor story about being from Haitian they're starving over there and he has nothing be careful he'll bring other people in and make money off of their money

Sub-contractors not showing, shoddy workmanship, lied to about completion dates, insured the work would be redone in professional manner, damage to personal property. Even after contacting Chris Burke, ( owner) personally and his team we have not received profession workmanship nor completion of project which was promised the 3rd time on Sept. 3, 2021.
