I've suffered from shin splints pretty bad in the past, and I knew I needed better shoes when I started running more. The staff at Game Changers was so knowledgeable about their products and really took the time to listen to my concerns and needs. They fitted me for shoes and even let me run on a treadmill to test them out. I've been running with my ON shoes for a little over a year now, and they are perfect! No shin splints! I can not recommend this place more if you're a runner. Aside from shoes, they have all of your fun running accessories like apparel, gummies, water bottles, etc. The store can be a little difficult to find if you're not looking for it, but it's right next door to Urban Outfitters.

I was then escorted to the center of the store after I explained why I was there. I needed some good work out shoes and me being overweight this is always a touchy feat, no pun intended. I was NEVER treated differently because of my size and was immediately looked over by Lauren as she watched me walk and paid close attention to my gait and how my feet moved with my stride. She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to explain my situation and what my intentions were with my new shoes. She measured my feet and off she went to the back to then bring out 6-7 pairs of shoes. She explained a lot of foot/runner lingo and I kept up with most of it, not overwhelming at all and I was enlightened about a lot of important details pertaining to finding the right shoes. I was extremely impressed by the whole process!! They even brought my 9 year old daughter a mini bottled water and some fresh popped popcorn while she waited on us to get finished! How sweet!? Poor Lauren(petite dark hair) I even went back and forth between the last two pairs of shoes that I couldn't decide on, putting them both on probably three times each and walking around the store. She was so patient and kind with me. The whole time encouraging me to really pay attention to the relief of my pain in my left ankle(main reason I needed good shoes to begin with). Overall FIVE stars and honestly I will never buy shoes from another place again! This is my new go-to and I cannot WAIT to work out in the morning!

As my boyfriend and I began to walk back, one of the staff members left the cash register started to follow us aisle to aisle. I felt very uncomfortable. She didn't even try to disguise herself. She was following us. I ended up staying for about forty seconds due to this. It was like the staff wanted us to leave. I ended up going to a new shoe store with friendly staff who let me shop in peace instead of being followed around. This encounter made me want to leave the place and stop shopping at the outlet overall. If I could give them zero stars I would.
