This place is an oasis in the desert of Langen lol The shop is nice and inviting and they have a good selection of delicious Eis here. The prices are very reasonable and it's very popular on a hot day. I really liked the taste of the Eis here and comparable to many places in Munich. If you find yourself in this town by mistake or otherwise, a stop here might make you feel better lol Nothing against people from the area but there is really not much to do here. It is a small industrial town along the railway line.

Coccola is known in Darmstadt for serving interesting ice cream flavors. They feature new flavors…read moreevery day, which is cool. When we arrived there was a long line. We waited about 30 min so I had high hopes. We got the honey/sage ice cream which was quite good. The cherry chocolate was horrible, we tried to pass the cone between us to get rid of it as fast as possible. Had hardly any sugar and was just not good. The chocolate was pretty good and the blueberry not so much. The wait time was ridiculous. They had one woman scooping which is crazy considering its spring. The ice cream was ok, nothing to rave about. I guess people like it because of the exciting flavor combos but the ice cream itself is not the best consistency. Its almost watery instead of creamy.
