She put me with Dr. Asil Gündüz and his wonderful assistant Döndü. Döndü was very gentle and understood my needs throughout the process. They replaced 3 crowns (with top of the line Monolitic Zirconia crowns), added 1 new crown, replaced 2 fillings from silver to white fillings, added 2 fillings, and a nightguard for under $1,300.00 USD which saved me thousands of dollars compared to the cost in the USA even with dental coverage. Impressed by Dr Baysal's bio and portfolio of satisfied customers, I contacted Cem and received a super-rapid response via WhatsApp. He patiently fielded my questions over a few days before I took the plunge. I was all in for a full set of zirconium crowns. Once I arrived at the surgery, and following a short trip across the road for 3D scans, Cem identified three infections that would require extractions and implants. I wasn't surprised. It was decided that my two healthy wisdom teeth could be left alone but all other teeth should be crowned to achieve my goals. I was then asked to choose which zirconium I wanted him to use. There are a range of zirconium products that will depend on your budget. I elected to have the high-end KATANA zirconium crowns for their variable translucency and natural look. My teeth were drilled back to the core and temporary crowns fitted. After waiting a few days, the permanent crowns were ready. Next, the extractions were done and the implants were drilled in. A temporary bridge was fitted over the implants and 4 months passed before one final trip to fit crowns and abutments to the implants that were now bonded to the bone and fully healed. There was a degree of sensitivity to the new crowns at the back for several weeks, but this is expected and gradually recedes. Inserting implants is quite invasive and you will likely require anti-inflammatory painkillers for just a few days, which you will be prescribed. I now have a beautiful mouthful of natural-looking white teeth that don't scream out loud like some can. Thanks to the skill and artistry of Dr Cem Baysal, they are perfectly symmetrical. Each tooth is precision-engineered for a perfect fit. Floss slides between each tooth just as it should. No gap is too wide and no gap is too tight. Cem is a perfectionist. He is vastly experienced, highly skilled, and a thoroughly nice guy. If, like me, your priority is to find a skilled dentist who is also an experienced implantologist, then your search ends with this review.
