I thought getting my teeth done would be as simple as picking a smile and a color--like shopping--but with the dental issues I personally had, it wasn't that straightforward. Everyone's case is different, and mine definitely needed more attention. In the end, I decided to fully trust the team and let them guide me, and I'm really glad I did. My two front teeth were a big concern--one was higher and stuck out further than the other--so a lot of correction was needed. I also ended up needing gum contouring to get the best result. The entire process was handled professionally, and I experienced no real pain, just some normal soreness and sensitivity. Originally, I wanted to go with a very bleach-white color, but they advised me against it--and I'm so thankful they did. I chose M1M, and it's the perfect balance: bright, clean, and natural, without that overly fake "you definitely got work done" look. Pricing was exactly as discussed, which I appreciated. Bite premature. 3rd tooth feels lower than three crowned ones. I'm having pain on third tooth with cold water, sweets, breads, meat. I suspect he knew it needed a root canal. Ignored it. Just so irresponsible. Spent 3800$ on this trip from the states to end up with this. I put all my trust in him and he mislead me. I totally regret ending up with this dentist. Looking back, Four days i met with him in those two weeks, he rushed everything. Reassuring again & again, dont worry itll feel right with time. No worry about pain from 3rd tooth. In the states even with insurance, 1500$ for a root canal & crown. Ad misleading. No where in the picture of staff is Assam. Show three Sandalli founders whom i should have insisted on seeing. I have a very low pain tolerance so coming into this I didn't know what to expect due to being told it was only local anesthesia but I was extremely happy my entire procedure except for a very little bit was entirely pain free I only had a very little stage where I felt the procedure but the team was extremely quick to attend to my pain and give me some more anesthesia to make sure I was comfortable and it was very quick to kick in. Then the following days after the procedure the team was all extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions I had they were never rude. I was full of trepidation, oral surgery in a foreign country however the cost of the plane tickets…read more(economy) hotel (good not great), food, transportation, paying for the two implants in cash, pain meds and antibiotics total was still less than just the implants in Milwaukee even with my dental insurance. There is surely something wrong here, and by here, I mean in the USA, In Istanbul, the dental surgery clinic was much newer, better equipped, with maybe better skilled surgeons. I usually go to an elite, University of Marquette School of Dentistry professor, so, no slouch. But the surgeon in Istanbul, all she does are implants and she was so good, the only pain I experienced was the Novocaine injection -- which is always the worst part. There's a safer, more effective NSAID called Dexofan available in Europe and Asia because they favor non-addictive pain killers to the American preference for habit forming opiates. I only took one, and we were sightseeing that afternoon. They fed me a nice meal in their cafeteria, I actually shared the room with my surgeon. There's a nice clinic cat downstairs, she's not allowed upstairs but she really brought my anxiety levels down. The Chief of Staff was stationed in a very comfortable waiting area, she had a choice of three, where she knitted. They also served us a very nice Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. When I arrived the translator sensed my fears and gave me an in depth tour, I was very impressed with their state of the art imaging and 3D printing capabilities, I do wish I could afford to come back for the crowns. I had a choice of implants, the most expensive (still a third of the cost of Milwaukee) was the most commonly used implant in the USA so that's what I chose. She was so fast and there was so little discomfort, and her English was good but she confused present and future tense (many of my American college students made the same mistakes) I wasn't sure she had finished the implants and they had to show me the scans to convince me.
