Easily the best bagels in London, no doubt about it. Moved over from NYC a year ago and I've been on the hunt, up until today the best I found was Papo's and these have easily taken the crown. It was a bit of a wait even midday on a Monday and the prices are high - £9.50 for a BEC was a bit of a shocker and £13 for "the works" (lox and schmear with the fixings).
Individual bagels are priced at £1.50 which is the same price as Papo's and they're about double the size so unless you're picky about your schmear I'd recommend just buying them loose and making your sandwiches at home. The bagels are absolutely NYC quality and the everything are appropriately coated in seeds (I hate when the coating is sparse).
They have a decent selection of flavours although they were sold out of half of them by the time I got there at 11ish. I imagine that they'd be very picked over by the afternoon.
They have a few salads as well (tuna, chicken, egg, whitefish) that you can buy either in a 220g container or by the kg.
Staff was nice although they did seem maybe a bit overwhelmed - they just opened though so over time I expect they'll work out some of the kinks. Anyway - yay for good bagels in London!!! read more
