The other day my coworkers wanted boba so we ordered on the app. I already had one bad experience here but figured everyone was getting one so why not. Well I had a DEAD FLY INSIDE MY DRINK!!!! My cup had still been sealed with the plastic at top. I'm so disgusted, I could've eaten a fly thinking it was boba. SO GROSS. I immediately called and told them what happened and the girl told me she would refund me. So I went in and even left the cup with her so she could see for herself. The boba is good, it's what you expect from this place. however the average rating is for the service. I'm a regular, and the niceness from the workers is very hit or miss. i know it sounds entitled, but it's just common courtesy. there's one young lady specifically who has a very very rude attitude. the 2 times i've encountered her here, she's like mad at life lol , why work in customer service if you have no customer service skills? the other employees are always nice and welcoming. There aren't any good boba places in the area, so when this place opened up everyone flocked here. Of course there is going to be a wait. The staff is still new & learning. Cut them some slack. I have yet to encounter a rude employee, including the owner/manager that runs the place. There was a delay on one of my drinks once & he was apologetic & even gave me a free macaroon for my troubles. I am a regular customer here & will continue to be. Regarding the drinks themselves, they are great. Zero complaints. For me, they are worth the wait. With that being said, if the wait is too much, don't order. It's that simple. Last two times I came they either ran out of everything... I mean everything! Or they were closed during business hours. I really liked this place at first, I thought it was a great addition to the city of Bell. However, I don't think this place was ready for the attention they are getting and you can see that clearly in the poor employees performance, and the products they selling. Waited over 30 mins for a mobile order (ordered ahead of time) My drinks were watered down by the time my order was called out . Very disappointing since I ordered shakes. The shakes had no flavor. My Thai tea was watered down as well tasted like water. Many customers walked in and the staff decided they were no longer going to take any orders during business hours. Not to mention, they are always behind on their orders. The staff is all over the place, not productive, just bickering or gossiping in the back. How do you have 5 people working and can't get the orders out on time ?!?! Doesn't make any sense. Owner, you should really talk to your staff they're costing you customers. I genuinely do not understand how or why this place is the way it is. Always backed up on orders while being fully staffed. People working with air pods on, walking back and forth with nothing to do while customers are waiting soooo long for their orders they literally stand around laughing and talking with each other . They have 5-6+ people on shift and have orders backed up 10+ numbers behind. Wait time is always exceeding 30 min and your drink rarely come out the way there supposed to. I don't understand it. I normally go to bobaloca down the street , but since they stopped carrying my thai tea when I seen this was opening I was so anxious to try it and stop by. Now that it was open I tried it for the first time , place was very nice description of drinks was well layed out. I ordered a Thai tea really good ,also ordered strawberry fruit tea I was very awful . The fruit used to make it tasted very bitter . I once came here to make a 4 drink order , after waiting for 40+ mins and seeing everyone that came in after me leave before me , I was pissed asked what was going on with my order and they hit me with "we are going in order by numbers" so I told him how is it that I've been here 40+ mins and every person that came in after me left before me if they're going in order . Last night around 8:30pm I went to go get a drink. There were lots of people standing around I am assuming waiting on orders. I go inside the store I am standing in the area where it says order here, I was standing there for like 5 mins. No greeting no i will be right with you, no acknowledgement what so ever. I was like wtf okay let me ask these customers if they order, so I asked "have you guys order" and the girl behind the counter was real quick to answer "we are not taking anymore orders cause we have a lot right now" lol okay what a joke! it was 8:35 ish pm by then, mind you they close at 10pm. And don't get me wrong if they were overwhelmed with orders that's fine I get it. But damn at least let people know you can't handle the orders lol and acknowledge them Instead of having them stand around waiting to place an order.
