My son started with Christina when he was just 1 year old and stayed until he was 4, and watching him flourish under her care has been such a gift. Christina provides an incredibly warm, loving, and nurturing environment. The hours are fantastic and so accommodating for working parents. She provides daily updates and pictures. One less thing to worry about during the busy workweek: she provides delicious, home-cooked breakfasts and lunches, plus daily snacks! Beyond the love and care, the developmental progress my son made was amazing. By the time he left for Pre-K, he could count all the way to 100 and trace/write his letters. Just as importantly, Christina taught him core social skills--sharing, being thoughtful and inquisitive, and navigating social cues with ease. There is designated circle time, sensory play, outdoor time, nap, and craft time each day, helping with setting a routine. He knows the ABC, can count to 20, colors, animals, vehicles, social skills, languages skills, etc. Savannah routinely plans out activities throughout the years: like water activities in the summer, holiday activities like halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas. She spends quite a lot of effort planning activities out for the kids. We are so thrilled when Savannah told us that she has the opportunity to take over unit A, the preschool program. Any conversation with her would be about her having a long list of people waiting to get into her daycare and how she's so popular and so in demand. Constantly. Attached are screenshots of the conversations. 1. When we were about to sign the contract with her and asked her for 2 referrals, she responded back saying "I will only give you one. If you want more then you can find another daycare." 2. Our child got really sick after his 1st week at her daycare. This happens to kids and no fault of Amelia's but he got Bronchitis (RSV) and an eye infection we had to make multiple trips to the Urgent Care and doctor to get this treated. Given his sickness we couldn't send him to daycare until he was better - this took almost 2 weeks. We messaged Amelia letting her know that if he's better we will send him for a couple of days that 2nd week, but if not we would wait until the week after. Of course we were paying her even though he didn't attend. Her response: "If you don't send him next week then I will find another family". See attached screenshot of message. He was so sick! She wanted to force us to send him the week after and risk him not getting better and more importantly risking other children at the daycare?! Not once did she ask "How's the baby, hope he's better etc" - Just threatening that she has more clients waiting to take the spot. 3. Today was his 6th day at the daycare and since he's still new and adjusting, my husband asked her if she could send some pics during the day so we feel assured that he's fine. Especially given the day before he cried a lot, threw up milk and didn't even nap. Her response: "I don't have time to do this, I have other children to see." You literally cannot expect to see any pictures of what your child is doing all day? Given he just started daycare? Unbelievable. 4. She would constantly compare kids in her daycare to other children. "Oh look at this girl, she's so cute, she started a week before your son and is already adjusted." Who compares kids like this? Any chance she got she would just complain about how busy she is and how she has a long list of people dying to join her daycare. I am more than happy to talk to you in more detail if you want about our experience, but as one parent to another - stay away from this daycare. The amount of stress she's put us through in such a short period of time has been insane.

In the beginning, they allowed for two naps and then transitioned him to one nap around 15 months old. Everything about the quality of care is really great. The one thing that I do really appreciate is the family atmosphere. There is one designated kid helper everyday. She re-enforces that the older children should be helpful and considerate of the younger babies. It creates a really good environment for caring and sharing among the children. Her level of discipline is appropriate and I have witness many times when she re-enforces good behavior among the kids. Each day she shares a fun story about my child whether it be funny or something new. When my son comes home, we can tell he was well stimulated throughout the day. She also does a good job of making holidays fun to celebrate like trick-or-treating for Halloween, exchanging Valentines and dying Easter eggs to name a few.

They love the kids and treat the kids, and parents, with such respect. They have been so patient with helping our daughter, who was 9 months when she started coming, establish a routine and feel safe and loved and now she can't wait to get out of the house in the morning to go to school! From nurture, to teaching moments, to fun and learning, they have it covered here. It's a great place both inside and out. The kids get to play outside, take walks and go to the park for games for at least a couple of hours a day. The teachers are all great about putting sunscreen and hats on each and everyone, every single day! They tell you how your baby ate, behaved, slept and any other important information we miss while we are at work. They make it easy. The hours of operation are good too. I highly recommend getting on Michelle's list well before you are going into labor!!! And if she has a spot, like we got one, consider yourself lucky!
