We always order online & I love watching the pizza tracker so you know what stage your pizza is at (yes, I know it's sad watching it but I REALLY love pizza okay!) I find that they deliver very quickly here ~ if you say ASAP they are indeed very fast compared to the Dennistoun Domino's & other ones I have ordered from. As I said some pizzas are better than others and some days/times are actually better than others ~ it seems to depend on who's making the pizzas as some are cracking & others are just 'okay' which is a shame. I think the problem we have had with some 'okay' pizzas is that they have been sitting too long & you can tell by when you get your pizza & it's not as hot or fresh looking. Occasionally they have forgotten our extra dips or drink but the delivery guys always go back & get them for us (always feel sorry for them a bit...but then they shouldn't have forgotten them in the first place!) and luckily it's not too far from our house that this takes them ages. I love Domino's Chicken Strippers (always makes me giggle as I get an image of a chicken in a seedy nightclub doing a wee striptease) & Kickers - yum. Very tasty and the honey & mustard dip is really good. In fact I really like all of their dips & you get a good variety compared to other takeaway pizza joints. The Frank's RedHot dip one & the Garlic & Herb ones being my favourite. Also I love the Domino's Dominator base which is just yumness indeed. If you haven't ever tried it then I urge you too - the base of these beauties is infused with cheese & herb sauce, *slobber* So good! I used to always have stuffed crust but now it is Dominator all the way. Their desserts are pretty nice but they have changed them recently and there seems to be less choice. Also they stopped selling the waffles which I really liked :-( Bah. Price-wise they ain't the cheapest (by far) but we often find good voucher code deals online to use so much so that I think we have only ever once paid full/normal price! Yas. I love a deal. There is a good menu to choose from but there is also a £12.99 set menu that you could also choose from that is better value. Choose a starter, main course and a drink and have as much salad from the salad bar as you want. The salad bar area was ok but nothing special, I ordered the chicken to start that resembled cheap processed chicken nuggets that had a squirt of bbq sauce on, they where passable but I would send them back if I was paying the price that was stated on the menu, just not good value. The pizza looked like something that I pulled out from deep within my freezer that had been there for several years (my freezer is empty by the way) the pizza just lacked in any flavour & l had to smother it to an inch of its life with lots of tomato sauce for any taste. The drinks where good but it was all Fanta or Pepsi with added flavours such as Strawberry, lime, cherry or lemon. The food was overall eatable but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to come back to a Pizza Hut.

No check-in or photos for this one because my phone died (for shame). Unfortunately, to this day, Thursday's Pizza Hut pizza was the only pizza I've had all week. And honestly, I am not completely ashamed, because in actual fact, the pizza was pretty good. Let me tell you about it. It was cold, I had had a long, long day in the lab and I had only had a Petit Filous all day (why are they so small?!) and now we were stressed trying to find a winter coat for the Brazilian. We found one, but that didn't change the fact we were hungry. Eventually we ended up deciding to go for Pizza Hut because none of us had had it in a while and they wanted the Buffet. Turns out, that Buffet is only on during the week and walking in at 9 pm, it wasn't on anymore. We sat down and we all chose our pizzas - I went for the 9 inch "Personal" Veggie Pan Pizza. N.B. the individual size for the pan pizzas is 9 inch and not 11 inch like it is for the flat based pizzas. The Veggie comes with onion, mixed peppers, mushrooms, sweetcorn, and fresh spinach. (the other pizzas that were ordered were a Meat Meltdown which has a BBQ base, and a Supreme, I think) When you order a meal, you also get access to an unlimited salad bar for free. We also decided to go for the unlimited soft drinks machine - there are multiple flavours of Pepsi Max, normal Pepsi, Tango and 7 Up Free available to freely choose from. As soon as we were given our salad bowls, we headed straight over and started loading up on free salad. I have to admit that the shredded carrots looked a little lackluster, but apart from that, everything else was surprisingly fresh, especially for the time of night we were there for. The Appendage loved the pasta salad, but the Amigo and I stayed clear of them. The drinks machine is quite incredible. My personal favourite has got to be the Pepsi Max with Lime, love it. Then I discovered Tango Cherry (I think that's the one I had) and it honestly tastes like Haribo Tangfastics, so it's not too sweet but it's great. Finally our pizzas arrived. I inhaled mine, even though our waitress assured us that we could take any leftovers home with us, and had I not been such an inordinate glutton, I would have. I enjoyed every single bite of my pizzas, the base was fluffy and the the vegetables were fresh and the spinach was actually green and wonderful. Even the mushrooms were fresh (which I am very pleasantly surprised by) and it all worked really well together. I am glad went for this particular pizza. A meal for less than 10 quid to leave stupidly stuffed, really isn't a bad deal. A big shout out goes to our wonderful waitress Lynne R, who was an absolute legend and super friendly. If i hadn't been so tired and cold and full I would have offered to help her tidy and clean up the restaurant so she could go home earlier than half past midnight. So even though Pizza Hut will not ever count as proper pizza, especially during Pizza Week, I can say that should I be back at the Fort, I might actually return.

They also stock Ben & Jerrys tubs here and I've been known to get myself a little tub of strawberry cheesecake from time to time. I was ecstatic a few months ago when I got a letter through my door informing me that my street was Pizza Huts "Street of The Week" and we would be able to order a medium sized pizza of our choice... absolutely free! Can you believe it? If you wanted to make it large all you needed to do was pay £2. A large Pizza Hut pizza for £2! Yes please! When I called to place my order I was worried in case it was some kind of hoax - it seemed too good to be true. However, I didn't wake up from a bizarre pizza dream, it was indeed true and 30 minutes later I had a tasty Chicken Supreme pizza delivered straight to my door.

My boyfriend ordered sweet and sour duck and his lip-smacking-silence spoke volumes. Oriental cuisine offers an array of dishes that are made well and delivered warm, at a not so premium price. Food is great and the service has been decent on the times that I have dined in. My dad loves the margarita pizza, I like the Mia Casa pasta dish and my mum swings from the salad to something with chicken usually. It is our local Italian restaurant and I recommend it if you are in the Newton Mearns area. It is worth noting that the parking is round the back (shared with the other shops and it can be tight for a larger vehicle, such as a Panamera or XJ).

My pasta came with rocket which tasted awful, you know how sometimes it is really bitter? It was really easy to pick off though so no harm done. The sauce and ravioli were delicious, creamy and a really generous serve so I was able to save the leftovers for lunch the next day. I think the last time we ordered takeaway for delivery was some time in 2011, so we're not pros at this kind of thing. I'd rather go our for a meal. We started off with mozzarella sticks, I can't remember what they called it but it was sticks of yummy battered cheese and dip, then I had the penne carbonara. You could choose the pasta you fancied, penne's one of my favourites. Then for a sweet I had a strawberry sundae, it finished off the meal perfectly. I would definitely come back here as the prices weren't too bad, the décor was smart, especially as it's still fresh and new and of course the food was delicious. One to keep in mind for future tasty food.

It was one of my best online discoveries (and bonus - you can order on line when you leave town and pick it up as you get off the train). They have a good menu with plenty of veggie choices, a couple of my favourites the Riviera - tomato, mozzarella, black olives, mushroom, pepper and oregano or the simple Basil - tomato, mozzarella, topped with beautiful fresh leaves of basil and black pepper. This one starts at £5.70 for a 12inch pizza, which is pretty good value! You can also add a range of toppings to their wide choices, meaning you can have the perfect pizza. The pizza's are thin, usually with a crisp base however I have had a couple that were a little soggy in the middle. This is probably the one's with wetter toppings. As the bases are so thin, they are not as heavy or filling as a more American style pizza would be. I imagine this is why their smallest size is 12 inches. I find 12 inches is a bit much for one, the large size size is a nice amount between two for a proper dinner. As much as the pizza is brilliant, the sides have much less to rave about. There aren't many on the menu, but personally I wouldn't bother with them again. Not awful but nothing special. They staff are friendly, it's pretty fast service. You can see them making your pizza by hand, and fire it in the proper pizza oven. Think this is why they always have such a lovely crust! If you're in the area I'd definitely advise swinging by.
