My daughter's American Airlines flight from Charlottesville was cancelled last night at around 10:30 p.m. All the AA flights the following day from Charlottesville were quickly booked up, so her best option for getting home to Denver for the long fall break weekend was a flight from Richmond leaving the next day at 6:50 a.m. That required a 4 a.m. pickup, and I was calling Dennis at 11 p.m. He didn't hesitate, arriving outside my daughters UVA dorm on time, and delivering her to Richmond airport efficiently and economically. I just moved back into the area after a bunch of years away, and I am so glad that I found iTaxi. The bad memories of the terrible taxi companies I dealt with when I lived here before gave me pause, but with a five star rating on Yelp, I decided to give iTaxi a shot. Steve is amazing! The first time that Steve picked us up we had just come off a trail run, so he picked us up in a pretty random location with no problems. When he picked us up he gave us lots of advice about where to go and what to see including Monticello. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have gone to Monticello had he not been so enthusiastic about it. I'm really glad we did. The second time that Steve picked us up he took us to the airport but before dropping us off he gave us a tour of the entire city which was so so great. What an awesome guy! Midnight pick up from CHO is a tough one. I don't want the unknowns of an Uber driver at that time of night but finding a car company willing to come out proved challenging. That is why I'm bothering to write this review. Itaxi provided a great service, really comfortable car and professional manner. The owner driver is a native and knows all the quickest routes. He was waiting for me and helped with bags, and made great time back to my downtown address. The price was perfectly acceptable. If so then check your log book for a pick up at 12:00 noon on October 27 and check the amount paid. The driver told me that he bought Steve out. Perhaps your company got rooked out of a fare.
