Separate lap lane and competition pools. In other words, something for everyone in the family. $10. all day pass per person... or get a family pass and save lots more. So many areas, heated for comfort, with chairs for spectators who don't want to swim. Free WI-FI... THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE WITH THE KIDS THIS WINTER!!! And in the summer, no closures for weather .... I also see lots of folks on the different running tracks and the basketball courts... up stairs are the weight rooms and exercise machines. There is no better facility for a hundred miles, maybe more. A membership is the gift you should give to your family. We drive 25 minutes to use this place... and are lucky to have it. Note: I can see that lots of folks take private lessons here, and also lots of folks clearly are getting physical therapy with a therapist here... professional help. So lucky to have the services.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, we rented a room here for my daughter's 10th birthday party. The party was…read moresupposed to be from 1-3pm. We were told when scheduling the party that the kids would be able to go into the pool at 1pm. We didn't get shown to a party room until 1:15pm. Then I had to take 8 girls to the changing room to get them all changed for the pool. They didn't get into the pool until 1:25pm. There were 2 lifeguards on duty and they were BOTH on their phones. The slide was opened when the girls first got in the pool but was closed way before 2:15pm. The kids were then called out of the pool at exactly 2:15pm. I then had to get 8 girls showered/changed. We didn't get back to the party room until 2:30pm. Our pizza was cold. There was no pitcher of water that I asked for. There was no plastic silverware. The girls had barely finished their pizza when we were told we only had 15 minutes left in the room. We had to hurry up and light the cake, sing happy birthday and eat the cake. There was no plastic silverware to serve or cut the cake. By the time the girls finished their cake it was 2:55pm. My daughter still hadn't opened presents. My husband had to ask the facility to give us 10 extra minutes so that my daughter could open 6 presents. After the ten minutes, All of our guests (and us) were pushed out of the room. For the amount of money I spent on that party, there should have been more time. They clearly don't take peoples time into consideration. The kids should get 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool like we were told when booking. There is no physical way you can undress into a suit, swim for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the pool, redress, eat pizza, talk with friends, sing happy birthday, serve and eat cake and open presents in the amount of time they give you when booking a party. I am extremely disappointed.

Chatham Community Center - This gives an idea of the table and chairs they provide. The tables are white, they look great!

I love this community center and had such a great experience. I was planning a baby shower and was…read moreon the hunt for a large enough venue and would work within our budget. I contacted Kenny and he was great at answering my questions and working with me, as I was organizing this from out of state. We rented the multi-purpose room and the adjacent kitchen. The staff was wonderful at helping us set up the table and chairs, as well as the break down of them after the party. They provided us with trash cans to use during the party and collected it at the end. They were polite and flexible as our party ran a little longer than we expected! I appreciated that the restrooms were right outside of the multi-purpose room, clean and stocked. The staff member, who helped the day of the party, was available to us and a good communicator. Thank you! Also, I had control of the thermostats which was awesome, as we all know how the temperature fluctuates in the Midwest. Some considerations: 1.) You are not allowed to put any decorations on the walls. This was fine by me and helped simplify decoration choices. 2.) The kitchen had a refrigerator and stove but no coffee pot or dishes. They have a sink which made it easy to just wash what we used before packing it away. There's a contract you sign and a deposit you put down. Basically: be respectful of the space and keep it clean. If you change your plans, let them know ahead of time and you'll get the deposit back. This community center was a great choice for us and affordable! The shower was a great success, I highly recommend them!
