The drive is beautiful no matter what direction you're coming from. I live in St. Charles county and took one of the river ferry's across into Grafton. The River Road gets you to Alton in about 20 minutes. Both Grafton and Alton have great food and antique stores to choose from. I was warmly welcomed into the shop. One of the co-owners was there during my visit to assist and answer any questions. The main level is eclectic filled with furniture, knick knacks, and tchotchkes. There is also a smaller selection of clothing on the main floor. The upstairs is a vintage shoppers dream! Clothes, coats, shoes, and accessories. I'm am a fuller bodied person and sometimes have a hard time finding anything in my size. They are size inclusive and did carry true plus size clothing. I can't really speak to value. If I see something and love it, I just buy it. But I believe the pricing is fair considering the care and attention given to the quality of the items they have curated. Enjoy your day trip!

I've shopped full-price retail stores that are not this well organized. I liked that they have mens shirts separated by style. It made it easy to shop for short sleeve casual. I got lucky today and found three shirts. They were clean, had all their buttons and I didn't see any rips or holes. Once I rewash and iron them, they'' be ready to go. I went to use the self check-out and they had a young lady there who did it for you. She was great. She was perky, friendly, personable and professional. Other retailers would be lucky to have someone as good as her. I'm getting over my dislike of thrift shopping, so I'll be back.

Great finds! I was really impressed with the high quality of the furniture that has been donated & for sale at really reasonable prices. I'm afraid if I had a truck I would've left with much more! Haha! The shop accepts donations of light furniture, decorative household items and collectibles. A much better option to donate your gently used home decor, collectibles and light furniture because you know EXACTLY where the funds are going from the sale of your donated and purchased items. The store is super clean & the volunteers working the store are the sweetest! Tax receipts are given for donations and purchases upon request.
