I responded that I never pay until after the work is done (all consumer websites say never to pay until the work is done so you don't get scammed). Then he sent a message stating that there would be an extra charge for setting up the Amazon Fire sticks and IR extender!! Then he sent a message saying my quote was not 10% off, but the total was still $367.00!! SO, then I got on Thumbtack.com and found three quotes for $200, $238 and $250. I will add, we also had a small crack in the corner of the screen as well and questioned if that smaller crack had caused issues with the screen. This small business was able to quickly diagnose with a very simply solution and we couldn't be more grateful for the help. We had dropped off the laptop an hour before closing on a Monday and the laptop was ready for pick up the next afternoon. I had a broken screen on one laptop, which he was able to replace quickly and for significantly less than quoted by other computer repair companies in the area. He did a great job, and not only was he knowledgeable in multiple areas (such as computer repair, cyber security, and web development), but he was also very security conscious (he had me take my hard drive, not only for insurance purposes, but to ensure that my data was protected). He did a great job on the laptop screen replacement and I actually had him look at another computer that had previously "died" according to Geek Squad and which was going to cost me an extraordinary amount of money to fix - according to them, the keyboard and the hard drive needed to be replaced and the data on the dead hard drive was non-recoverable. Jeff worked his magic on it, and while the hard drive was not fully recoverable, he was able to recover a decent portion of it, while replacing the hard drive (including installing a new OS on a previously well-worn system) all while being very cost-conscious. Oh, and, the keyboard didn't need to be replaced at all. So much for those other guys :-P As it stands, I would definitely recommend going to Jeff for any computer repair needs. I will certainly do so in the future. Overall, he is very knowledgeable - and while he may not have focused specifically on computer repair in the past, his depth of knowledge in multiple areas can make the solution all the better.

I left my laptop with them two times, one time for two days, one time for three days, they could not fix it. I brought my laptop McAfee and my computer is fine. Very disappointed in their lack of ability to correct their mistake.
