Situated at one end of Opry Mills near Madam Tussaud's, IT'SUGAR eats up a fairly large piece of real estate inside the mall and features all things candy from gummies, hard candies, chocolates, gum and legit everything in between plus more. Anytime I am wandering around Opry Mills I somehow find my way here, whether I am actually after candy or just wasting time...either way, worth it. While the prices are not the greatest, the selection is top tier. I am a chocolate guy, so I stick to the perimeter of the store where most of the chocolate tends to be. While they have all the classics, they have a lot of themed end caps and stations throughout the store. If chocolate is not your thing, then head to the multiple "candy by the pound" stations in the middle of the store and load up on all things candy from sour to sweet, nugget to rope and even suckers. They do have one chocolate station, which I have been known to utilize in filling up a bag. Service was fairly limited, even though there were multiple people on the floor, none were engaged with customers. When I was ready to check out, one associate from the floor met me at the register. She was monotone and fairly low energy for a candy shop associate. Service definitely did not fit the vibe of the brand. Overall, cool spot with loads of sweets. While you will not find me at Opry Mills too often, when you do, there is a high chance that I have an IT'SUGAR bag in hand. read more

My son insisted on coming into this store so we stopped by. This store has a wide variety of candy from popular types to more obscure and novelty items. We were not greeted or asked if we needed assistance, but we didn't really need any help. Overall, a cute place--especially for kids and teens. read more

This store is any candy lover's dream. All the nostalgic candy along with all the tik tok trendy candy can be found here. When you enter in don't expect to just get 1 thing. You'll leave out with a bag full. The store was really clean and the employees here were great. I had so many questions behind the pickle cotton candy. I wasn't brave enough to try it. I don't frequent IT'SUGAR often. I generally do when I'm on vacation. It was the case last month when I visited this store at Opry Mills. The last time I visited this sweet store (literally and figuratively) was in Las Vegas several years ago. You can buy practically every gummy, lollipop, or candy that exists at this store. You pay by weight. There were a lot of sugary items to peruse. I was pleased to see a wide assortment of Squishmallows plushies. Naturally, there were many that were also Hershey collaborations. There were Pusheen, Hello Kitty, Nerds, Coca-Cola, and Oreo plushies. I was in heaven! I also saw Grogu as a Pop Vinyl figurine. I loved them all. I liked looking at the cereal varieties. I saw sour worms and gummy bears as cereal. I laughed when I say the boxes say that each cereal had no nutritional value... haha! You do get sales at this store. Cotton candy in containers were 50% off the regular price. I managed to nab a couple of Ribena drink boxes for a dollar each. I was so happy! Seeing my favourite candies and snacks as scented candles was cool. The Swedish Fish caught my attention. I consume so many of them that I'm surprised that I don't look like one. That candle smelled good. I went to pay for my items at the counter. The woman asked if I wanted to buy a Make-A-Wish star lollipop, where a portion of the proceeds go to the foundation. I said yes. I paid with a credit card. The transaction completely successfully. I thanked the woman and left with my purchases. I finally finished my star lollipop on the weekend. It was yummy. It was surprisingly not super sugary. I had an enjoyable visit to this store. I'd return when I'm back at Opry Mills. (346) read more

Wheeee, sugar! My kids made me visit this store at Opry Mills because they had seen it on Youtube. So we popped in and checked it out. There is so much candy here at It'Sugar -- it's kind of overwhelming, to be honest. Pretty much any kind of gummy candy or sour candy or hard candy you would want is here. There are buckets of candy in the middle of the store that you can scoop into a bag, and then they weigh the bag and you pay according to how many ounces it is. We just got a couple of gummy sharks, which was a few ounces. This is partly because I'm cheap, and also partly because it's easy for my children to go overboard on candy, and I didn't want to deal with the aftereffects. It'Sugar also has some absurdly big candies, like huge Kit Kats that could feed a family of 12, Twizzlers that are as long and thick as a 4th grader's leg, a bag of M&Ms that could easily fill a commercial candy dispenser and much more. There are also some wacky boxes of what look like cereal, but are just a big box of gummy worms, marshmallows or gummy bears. They also have novelty sodas, giant lollipops, cotton candy, lots of Pocky and much, much more. This is basically a sugar-lover's dream. read more

Pack, buy, eat and repeat. This is exactly what we did! My family and I came here a couple days before Christmas and stocked up. Yes, we repeated it, too, the day after Christmas! I am a sucker for sour candies. Well, they had a whole bulk section. You bet I packed a bag with all the sour goodies. Sour belts are probably my absolute favorite. The goodness goes on for days. We had a riot seeing all the fun novelty candies and sweets. During our 1st visit, my daughter even got a gummy holiday house to build (instead of the traditional gingerbread house), which looked like gummy Lego blocks colored red, green and white. They even had a chocolate candy (bulk) bar, so we loaded up on some dark chocolate candies, too! It was so fun to see the giant versions of popular candy and also loved the "marshmallow only" (no cereal) boxes. Even though it was a couple days before Christmas, it was terribly packed and customer service was great. The gentleman, who was working the store kept things pretty tidy; thankfully. Because who wants to see or shop in a candy store that's in disarray. So, the day after Christmas we were back and we bought more! The cool things was that everything Christmas-themed was 50% off! Yes, it is absolutely sugar. I popped in and looked over the "British Invasion" shelves at the UK candies, picking up one small thing as a gift. And while it is sugar, they'd do well to see if there's any way to dedicate a rack to candy for diabetics, a growing (pun!) segment of the population. read more

I definitely will not be going back to this store. I believe I was overcharged for the bulk candy. I had a handful of chocolate covered almonds and a handful of malted milk balls and I little tin of rock candy and it was almost $30!! Cashier overcharged for the bulk candy. We had about 10 small gummy bears in 1 bag and about 10!of the small chocolate rock candies with it. 2nd bag had the crystal ice candy and a sugar banana gummy thing. Total could not have weighed more than 2 oz. I own an online shop and ship quite often. .91/ 1lbs is what it apparently weighed. There is no way it weighed 14/15 oz. $12.50 for a few pieces of candy? I commented to the cashier and she said that's what it weighed and unfortunate both kids were having a meltdown so we left without her resolving this for us. I will be calling customer service later.
