The cure was an extended period of trial and error working with a wound care group at St. David's hospital in Austin, Texas (who, quite frankly, I wouldn't trust with band aids and rubbing alcohol). Our one saving grace from the whole experience was finding out about the Roho Group's cushions. Sacral wounds are incredibly hard to heal because pressure is constant, and these cushions do the job in the long haul. After six months, I was about to give up on it as an expensive gimmick, but, nearly two years later, my dad has a baby's butt once again. What's extra special about the Roho Group is their attention to customer service. We had what I felt was a really minor issue with a missing part on the cushion. I called Roho on Wednesday just to order the replacement part, with or without warranty. Roho could not supply the 50 cent part I needed, unfortunately. But what they are doing for us under warranty is replacing the entire cushion. Yep, my dad is getting a whole new cushion sent to us by Fed Ex with return shipping included. Five stars for Roho, especially because the new cushion has already arrived less than three days later on Saturday via FedEx!
