Unfortunately, I can't recommend Dr. Anderson. In an email telling me my test results were fine he closed with, "let me know if you have any questions." I had two relatively basic follow up questions which I emailed using the Sutter Health portal - the system they specifically have patients use for talking with their doctor. He ignored my email. After 15 days with no reply, I emailed him again, asking why he hadn't returned my email. If he'd suggested a call or even a visit, I'd have been fine with this but I'm not fine being ignored and left wondering what's up with my health. After filing a patient feedback complaint, a supervisor intervened - she btw, was understanding and agreed with my position in total. Still, I had to wait another 8 days and make another phone call while getting harassed about a bill I refused to pay until service was complete. I also found Dr. Anderson sloppy and not detail oriented. He accused me of not getting a blood test which had in fact been sitting on his desk for weeks. He hadn't bothered to look at it or even for it prior to our second scheduled appointment. It was easier to blame me for failing to follow his instructions. Finally, after weeks of headache and hassle Dr. Anderson gave me a bare bones curt reply and then chastised me because email is a poor communication tool. This from a grown man and supposed professional who chose to communicate by ignoring his patient completely. I never had a direct line to him and had no other way of communicating with him other than his own Sutter Health portal - the one they make you use! It's laughable that he tried to blame his own network's system for his failure. Overall, I found Dr. Anderson cold, arrogant, petty and lacking in detail. To cement my last impression, he spelled my name incorrectly in his final reply and had several spelling errors as well. Both are medically irrelevant but they speak to an overall lack of attention to detail. Personally, when it comes to my health and the exorbitant expense we incur, I want someone on the ball, not someone looking at the cheerleaders and waving their hand with a "yeah, yeah, whatever" attitude toward his job. This man is supposed to be a brilliant physician but he can't spell properly or get his patient's name correct in his correspondence? He was also unprepared, yet blamed the patient, then didn't acknowledge his mistake. Isn't this common courtesy and "I'm paying attention 101." I'm genuinely disappointed because I prefer giving positive reviews but my experience was anything but positive. I wish you better luck if you're seeking a physician and opt to get care from Dr. Anderson. read more

Enjoyed my initial consult with Dr. Anderson and while we disagreed on several key items for health and diet such as how high animal fat consumption leads or does not cause heart disease and when I mentioned that France and Hong Kong have high animal fat consumption and low CVD rates and he pushed vegan diet as world healthiest, I enjoyed his approach to providing options for maintain health and his friendly candid demeanor. Front office staff is great and responsive and reminded me of the doctor appointment. Many research studies have proved that animal vs vegan diet does not cause heart disease and also that cholesterol is not cause of heart disease. Studies pushing the vegan diet are funded by big ag and big pharma. read more

During my office visit, Dr. Anderson was over the top with unprofessionalism and arrogancy. Dr. Anderson became very angry and brought himself very close to my face . Face to Face he angrily stated, "No one tells me to make a change to medical reports." " He then said very forcibly, "I am the Doctor " "You are the Patient." He then said,"You are really testing our doctor patient relationship." I am very concerned about one sentence that is in my cardiology report. I know that it is very wrong to include this sentence in the report. I know that this sentence should and must be removed. You do not have to be a doctor to know what Dr. Anderson has reported is so very wrong. Do not I have the right to question my own cardiology report? Dr. Anderson seems to think not. I believe Dr. Anderson is too prideful to admit he has made a mistake and It looks like Dr. Anderson clearly wants to cover up the fact that too many blood pressure medications or even just a single blood pressure medication can cause a person to have very dangerously low blood pressure. The low blood pressure caused me to pass out out twice . I was on 5 blood pressure medications and 3 blood thinning medications. This awful Hospital Treatment Protocol landed me back into the hospital for a 2nd Hospitalization. During my 2nd Hospitalization , the Doctors wanted to add 6 more drugs to have me placed on a total of 14 drugs. I did not take anymore drugs. I turned them all down. I believe that if this cardiology report is allowed to stand as written , I believe that this will only enable in the support of very dangerous Hospital Treatment protocol. This Dangerous Treatment Protocol is plaguing most of America's hospitals. The way I see it, Dr. Anderson has an opportunity here to admit his mistake and look into supporting better Hospital Treatment Protocol. People are needlessly dying from today's awful treatment. I have no doubt whatsoever that the treatment I received nearly killed me. Unfortunately, It seems that Dr. Anderson is turning a blind eye to this very bad Treatment Protocol. I do hope that Dr. Anderson at some point learns that the Hospital Treatment Protocol of today needs to be greatly improved but until then I cannot recommend Him. read more

At 65 with an underlying health condition (persistent atrial fib) AND moving up here recently... well...finding new doctors is a little stressful unto itself. Doctor Andersen and his staff immediately made us feel like we were in awesome hands, and the care shown proves we ARE in awesome hands. As we work our way through this issue, he has had an assuring and calming quality. We feel that we are his focal point while meeting, and he answers every question as though it were important to answer thoroughly - dignifying our need to know. Very good doctor. I was experiencing some PVCs when bloated and my PCP recommended that I see a cardiologist just in case. I've only had two appointments with Dr. Anderson at Sutter in Roseville and currently have nothing negative to say about him. He answered all my questions. Went over the treatment plan and possible causes of my condition. Seemed very caring and determined to figure what's causing my condition. During my second visit he went over the Holter monitor and echo results and explained to me that my symptoms are most likely related to vegas nerve stimulation by the stomach. He assured me that PVCs are common in most people and getting them once in a while is nothing out of the ordinary. read more
