Great care! I'm with dr. Hundel for the last 3 years or so. She is pretty through with helping you…read morewith what you need as for care. She has referred me to a specialist gyno dr, which I'll be seeing later this month. If she cant figure it out she will get help. The gals at the front are always friendly and chit chat with you for a minute. Its clean and never crowded.

I just learned today, after following up, again, on an oncology referral, that I have been…read moredismissed from Sutter Health for all oncology/hematology. I never received the original dismissal from my first oncologist. Apparently, after I saw my PCP for another referral, because my existing oncologist was bought out by John Muir (which they failed to advise), I was blackballed by Sutter. Sutter is refusing to treat a stage 3 colon cancer patient because I couldn't understand my Russian-born oncologist. They are collecting premiums and denying care. I went through the steps of seeing a PCP for a referral for an established disease that Sutter knew of for the previous 10-months. I chose not to let the PCP listen to my heart or lungs as I didn't deem it necessary for the referral. Wait...I'm the patient? Yes, I am and that's well within my rights not to submit to exams that I don't feel comfortable with. I was told I was rude for not wanting to answers already in my chart and that was asked by the nurse. How is that rude? That's failure to communicate on their part. I shouldn't have had to even see a PCP for an established disease that Sutter had already been treating. They are abusing the system and now that abuse has fallen onto me by denying any care at all. I am allowed to choose my doctor. It is not out of the norm for a female patient to want a female doctor. Based on the medical terminology, it is not out of the norm to insist on a doctor whom I can understand, without the aid of her staff. You can't reach anyone at Patient Advocacy because they are always in a meeting. I have not received any written notification of either dismissal; which is required! I am only allowed to see a non-contracted doctor and they can't find one; so that equals no care. Carla, in appeals and grievances said the letter, that I was told about today, shouldn't have been generated. Yet, I cannot receive any care for my cancer because Sutter is denying all care to oncology. So, now, I wait. If the anemia gets bad enough, I'll go to the ER. If anyone knows of a non-Sutter, non-North Bay oncologist, who might accept payment from Sutter, please let me know. My life hangs in the balance while these paper pushers pretend they are trying to help me. If anyone knows any good lawyers, please pass along this review. Sutter shouldn't be allowed to get away with what they are. They are literally trying to kill people by refusing to let them see any doctors they don't want them to see. That's wrong and should be illegal!

Had to file a complaint with the medical board against this doctor's office. Here is the complaint…read morefor context. We lost a month with my 88 year old dad in terms of getting into a specialist because of their lack of responsiveness: My 88-year-old father recently had a transient ischemic attack (TIA) and was discharged from the hospital with instructions to follow up with a cardiologist. His primary care physician sent a referral to Roseville Cardiology Medical Associates. Over the next three weeks I called the cardiology referral department six separate times and left voicemail messages requesting a callback so we could schedule the appointment. In each message I explained that my father had recently been hospitalized and urgently needed cardiology follow-up. I never received a return call. Today a home health nurse contacted the office to escalate the issue and we learned that the cardiology office had declined the referral due to my father's secondary insurance and had sent a fax to the primary care office. However, the primary care office never received the fax and we were never notified of the decision. If we had been contacted, we would have agreed to pay any copays or out-of-network costs to ensure he received care. My concern is that despite multiple calls regarding an elderly patient with a recent TIA, the office never returned our calls and did not notify us directly that the referral had been declined. This lack of communication resulted in a significant delay in necessary cardiology follow-up care.

Waleed Effendi, ENP, was checking my routine blood lab report the week before my 6-month checkup appointment. He noticed the low hemoglobin and consulted with Dr. Yadlapalli who agreed that my low hemoglobin was life threatening. Immediately Waleed phoned and advised me to go to the emergency room for blood transfusions. After ER scans, checks, and a two-unit blood transfusion, I was scheduled for a colonoscopy which showed an asymptomatic Stage Three cancer tumor. Without Waleed's detailed check and alert notice, this would have continued undetected. The office staff is friendly and extra helpful. Just before my scheduled colorectal surgery, the anesthesiologist wanted a cardiology clearance. I phoned Marina Sokolik, M.A. late on a Friday afternoon and she worked with P.A. Julie to send the necessary records to clear my Tuesday surgery. I am very appreciative for the extra personal care and support from Twelve Bridges Cardiology.
