I was blessed to be Dr. Maxson's patient and have two children through IVF. I was Dr. Gualtieri's patient for almost two and a half years. I feel like I know him better than most patients since I've seen him multiple times for pain in the right side of my uterus. During my initial consultation, he agreed to help me with laparoscopic surgery if needed. While a patient here, I was treated for endometritis, underwent a vaginal culture, and then subsequently got diagnosed with Ebstein- Barr Virus (EBV). I have been ill now for sixteen months, with my Early Antigen level always positive, and my IGG nuclear and IGM levels consistently rising. Approximately a year ago, I asked to be seen for the consistent pain I was having. I also asked to be signed off on so I could see another provider here, as I felt I wasn't being taken seriously. For about two months, my portal questions were never answered. High monocyte levels are associated with cancer and autoimmune diseases and can be caused by infections such as endometriosis. A laparoscopy can lower monocyte counts. Due to these factors, surgery sounded like a great option. During my consultation, Dr. Gualtieri was standoffish and primarily glared at me. He stated he doesn't feel comfortable performing a laparoscopy, since he is out of practice. He would not evaluate me or order me an ultrasound. As I replied kindly to a nurse while leaving, I noticed Dr. Gualtieri smirked. My heart sank, and I wasn't sure if I could ever bring myself to return. Due to being ignored and this visit, I wrote a certified letter which Dr. Gualtieri responded to a month later. Since my last visit, Dr. Gualtieri called me claiming he wasn't angry with me, only himself for not being able to help me. He promised to ask his colleagues whom they would recommend for laparoscopic surgery, but he never did. In addition, he agreed to let me see another practitioner here but never followed through. Justine recently called me to follow up and asked me to remind Dr. Gualtieri during my next appointment for referrals. I selected to reschedule my appointment for Wednesday, April 10th at 2:30 PM through the online link emailed to me. I rescheduled via the online link on Monday April 7th, at 5:50AM. My request was successfully submitted at 5:52 AM, yet I never received a return call. When I called back, Donna informed me she couldn't reschedule me. Each time I called, I was informed Heather was in a meeting and would return my calls. She never did. Approximately a week later, I received a letter from Dr. Gualtieri stating that he and his partners would not be providing me with IVF care, signed by everyone. He never gave a reason for dismissing me; however, I know the decision can't be based on cancellations since I've always cancelled at least forty-eight hours in advance. I took these pictures as proof. Dr. Gualtieri went from being kind and helpful to indifferent. I began to realize his demeanor was inconsistent, and I never knew what to expect. When I began to be treated disrespectfully, I remembered the times he seemed so caring and thought things would change. Furthermore, I trusted him and went through a lot here. I'm close to the staff, as I've known everyone here for the past seventeen years. For these reasons, although I was treated inappropriately I didn't want to come forward. Now, I have nothing left to lose as Dr. Gualtieri shunned me from the entire practice. I previously asked to speak with a manager, but I was only given the option to speak with Lisa at the front desk. Mr. Windham and Ms. Buzzell are only available to speak with patients after they are terminated. Then, they will not meet with patients to discuss problems since they are no longer part of the practice. They disregard patients and protect the doctors here, no matter the circumstances. It would have been kind of them to speak with me before everything escalated. They do not value patients, even if they have been loyal and truthful for seventeen years. I tried my best to build the same relationship I had with Dr. Maxson, which was based on mutual trust and respect. He showed me by example that I deserve a forthright, understanding, and considerate doctor. I've always planned to have another baby, yet this is impossible if I remain ill. Dr. Gualtieri consistently told me he wanted to help me with IVF, yet he never attempted to refer me to someone who could potentially help me get better and to reach out to his colleagues for advice. Instead, after being his patient for all this time, he gave up on me. It's ironic that Dr. Gualtieri dropped me now that I'm ill, as my main concern is having a future with the family I already have. My experience here has been gut-wrenching, and I don't want my story to become someone else's. In my opinion, Dr. Gualtieri does not follow the standard of care physicians here are supposed to abide by. read more

I may have created a "Yelp" account just to post this review, because I think the overall rating is far lower than it should be, and I'd like to share how things may have changed since the 2023 ratings. I agree with Brittany J. from last year, my experience has been very good. The staff at the Jupiter location are wonderful and very attentive (excellent quality of care) and while the process can be extremely overwhelming from a logisitcs and emotional standpoint, they were with me every step of the way, always prompt with responses through the virtual portal (can be a bit of a challenge to get hold of via telephone, I'll admit that) and from the finances aspect, they are very upfront with expected costs, try to run everything they can through insurance, and predict a higher cost for the treatment than it actually ends up being. The office space itself is nice with coffee, snacks, nice lighting, good seating (and this is true of the Margate office as well). I was recommended this clinic by my OBGYN, and I'm happy I listened. read more

Was shocked to see such a low review of this office and felt compelled to write a review. The staff at the Jupiter location are incredible, warm, compassionate, and always take their time explaining things or answering questions. They do insurance verification and outline everything your insurance covers and doesn't cover during the financial consultation to go over your options. Nurses educate and demonstrate how medications work and how to administer, video demonstrations are also given, you take a whole course online outlining everything you need to know. This is a nurse-forward office, yes, but most large fertility clinics are. I have no doubt that if I had any need to speak to a doctor directly I would be able to. Portal messages allow for quick and easy replies, and they returned voicemails quickly. I'm shocked anyone had a negative thing to say at all. Would HIGHLY recommend this office specifically. read more

I understand in this area of Florida, there are not many options for Fertility centers but truly trust me, this is one to avoid. I honestly think they only care about is money money money. You might think that is like most medical centers these days, but you are wrong. They are on another level. You cannot speak to any doctor without getting charged almost 400 dollars for seconds of talk time, they don't care to help with your insurance and that's a whole another nightmare and good luck ever reaching anyone if you call in. They never answer the phone except billing department and never return voicemails. If you live in the area, please drive to Miami area or Orlando or Tampa...it will save you so much time and money. I would rate this business as one of the lowest customer service businesses I have ever worked with on a personal level. Truly needs new management with new core values and have integrity at the forefront in their restructure. read more

I would absolutely not recommend this place. They do not care about their patients. I have been receiving monitoring from them for months. I am now 6 weeks pregnant from a Frozen transfer and they changed their procedures (without telling anyone) and are refusing to see me. They said they may be able to see me if my doctor calls however, they have 1 doctor at the Jupiter location, who is out of town, so my doctor cannot reach him in a reasonable enough time for me to do my ultrasound when it needs to be done. Impossible to see a doctor to go over medical charts. Then doc goes on vacation. Only nurses available after hours when window of opportunity relies on timing and sending over medications or lab requests may not be available when they are finally ready to contact you back. They don't give a crap about patients. Unfortunately the only place around for fertility treatment makes me so freaking mad. Nurses short with their answers rush you in and out. read more

Dr. Gualtieri was a fantastic Dr. I put my trust in him confident that he'd successfully remove a growth I had in knowing I'd be able to conceive afterwards. He successfully removed my growth and even though my chances of a natural pregnancy were against me I successfully had a beautful, healthy, baby boy! This is the most unorganized facility I have ever been to. There is no communication between the staff. They send you to satellite offices all over. We try to get ahold of records and it is nearly impossible. They just tried to push us through the process without taking into account personal details. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. They are there to take advantage of you financially. I have been treated by an infertility doctor for the past two years. Great dr, just expensive. There is nothing wrong with me, I'm just old and I don't have a partner. I've been doing as many IUIs as I could afford, hoping there is still one good egg somewhere in there. I switched to IVF FL to save some money, so I could continue with a few more IUIs. I brought in my records, and they wanted to repeat all the identical tests I already had done at my original doctor...especially the test that's very expensive and my insurance doesn't cover (Hysterosalpingography). I told the doctor repeating the test was unnecessary. Since the last time I've had the test done (less than 2 years ago) I have not been sexually active, I've never had chlamydia or gonorrhea to scar my fallopian tubes, and I don't have cancer. Therefore, checking for scarring in my unscarred fallopian tubes is not medically necessary...oh, but I forgot to mention, it is necessary for his billing. They would rather do what's bad for the patient just so they could make more money. I am a medical doctor, so I do know what I am talking about. I just feel bad for all the women who are desperate to have a child. Sadly, they trust the IVF FL doctors, because they don't have the medical knowledge to doubt them. It's a shame that IVF FL doctors would take advantage of women who are at their weakest point of desperation. I walked out! read more
