I cannot recommend him highly enough. Absolute professional, and unbelievably accommodating to my (tight) schedule. He selected high quality plants from the nursery (sharing pics so I could approve also what I like), weeding, mulching, and leaving everything immaculate. I do quite a bit of gardening but relied upon his expertise for the design and what plants would thrive, and he did not disappoint. His prices are also very very reasonable. As I told him, I found him by googling "Brooklyn gardener" so it was a total leap of faith (!). So I am glad to pass my recc on to others who need an experienced and knowledgeable gardener.

He came by the first time to take a look and provide me with a quote (which he email me in less than 24h). I then decided to hire him and let me tell you... this was one of the best decisions I ever made for my house! He took care of an incredible amount of overgrown plants and then repotted and relocated some other ones. I was amazed by how perfect everything looked at the end! You can tell he really loves his job and knows what he is doing. He is also genuinely a good person and charges reasonably. We were so impressed that we decided to hire him for a monthly maintenance for our garden which is something we never felt comfortable doing before with anyone else. James is truly the best!
