I've had some PTs who were just mediocre, and some who actually could have done me harm had I not known better--even confusing anatomy parts. Yorkshire physical therapists are very capable, fully present, and treat specifically to the patient and his/her needs versus spewing any cookie cutter nonsense. I highly recommend this practice.

This is one of the nicest rehabilitation centers that I have seen. The property itself is really beautiful. When you first walk into the facility we noticed immediately that there was no institutional smell of any kind. If anyone has ever been to a rehabilitation place you know what I mean and I have been to a few. Some rehabilitation centers that I have seen were literally a nursing home. They are understaffed, physical therapy is ok and the place smells really bad, short staffed and the workers are just there because they are getting paid plus they milk the insurance until they won't pay anymore. Then they are asked to leave. At Kessler Institute, I noticed that they have a full staff and everyone seemed like they were working together and enjoyed what they were doing so that was a great start. They have doctor's and nurse's on staff. It really is a clean and bright environment. Their social worker was so friendly and helpful with anything that the patient needed. Actually everyone that I met there was very friendly. Patients get a real schedule of what they will be doing to work toward their recovery which can change everyday. This place is no joke they focus on rehabilitation to get you back functioning like your old self to live your life. If you are not willing to put in the work I don't think this would be a place for you. Now, I have a better understanding of what a good rehabilitation facility looks like and what they should offer for a speedy recovery.

I do not recommend this facility in Wayne NJ , especially for people of color…read more I had an appointment at Atlantic Health Rehabilitation in Wayne, New Jersey today 4/9/26 The office had recently moved, and it was very difficult to find the new location. As a result, I arrived approximately five minutes late. When I arrived, there was another patient at the front desk speaking with the receptionist and scheduling multiple appointments. I waited patiently for over five minutes while they finished, without or complaint. When it was my turn, and before the patient ahead of my the receptionist immediately told me I was late and refused to see me. I explained that I had difficulty finding the new address and had also been waiting for her to finish assisting the other patient. Despite this, she repeatedly stated that it did not matter and that it was "policy," without showing any flexibility or understanding. I tried to explain that the delay was beyond my control and that I had arrived around 10:05, just after the other patient. She still refused to see me and rescheduled me for April 16 without asking if that worked for me. I found the interaction very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. A five-minute delay--especially under these circumstances--should have been handled with more understanding, particularly since I am in pain and had recently visited a pain management office. Additionally, I felt that I was treated differently because I am Muslim, which made the experience even more upsetting. This experience was unacceptable. I would appreciate it if a supervisor could follow up with me and address this situation. Staff should receive proper training on professionalism, communication, and respectful treatment of all patients.
