Jim is a true gem, he challenges the kiddos to be active participants in their learning. The most impressive part is that he treats each kiddo with the same respect he would treat an adult. Too often kiddos don't get this same level of respect and when you are able to find a human who truly appreciates and is interested in interacting with kiddos you have to celebrate them! They have their indoor cabins here and of course the outdoor common areas and hiking paths. You cannot imagine how happy I was when I arrived here, I mean the last outdoor camping experience I had was in Dayton and so I pretty much miss the outdoorsy experience. I was so kindly greeted when I arrived here for the Columbus Yoga Festival and given a guide for the day and what will happen around the common grounds. There were two food trucks here. The Little Eater and the Hai Poke. They had the camp tables set up for everyone to eat their lunches there. The space was more than enough to enjoy outdoor yoga. Just the experience of being outdoors and enjoying nature was so great for me. I love outdoorsy events. This particular one spoke to me as my inner yogi came out. They had enough room for vendors to set up their tables for aerial yoga, braids, juice stations, nail stations, etc. It was such a fun day and I wish I could relive it all over again!

She looked like she didn't want to be there, and didn't enjoy being around children or interacting with them at all. She also didn't take the time to help my child improve her skills, which I thought was the whole point of an instructor?! Considering the steep cost, this is clearly not worth it. My child was so discouraged she no longer wants to go. Maybe another class would be a better fit, but I think the overall atmosphere is not a good fit for us. We're looking to have fun while learning new skills, and it seems that others have Olympic ambitions and the serious attitude that comes with it. Perhaps this place is focused on their star programs and not everyday children who want to have fun while learning the basics.

Every day was wonderfully planned and executed. They taught the entire alphabet and numbers and even potty trained in these last months. All difficult jobs for one child, let alone a whole class of children. They both excel at their jobs. The downside to this location is the administration staff. The director and assistant director do not seem to be excited about their jobs and their attitude is expressed in everything they do. Their contact with parents is not always pleasant, and on occasion, they have been rude and hostile. I found daily contact with either of them to be very unpleasant. I would not recommend this location, if you have alternatives.

She was not enforcing any of the written rules. One parent mentioned she was knitting. Which wasn't a big deal, until children well over the age limit were taking over the space. Throwing sand at toddlers. Pouring sand on kids. Rough housing. Dragging another kid throughout the sand pit. (While wearing socks lol it's one of the rules) 1 hour before closing, She took a truck from a toddler that was playing with it on the side/boarder of the sandpit. She claimed it was a rule they enforce. If she were enforcing actual safety rules, it wouldn't have been so out of pocket. It very much seemed to be her just trying to do her closing tasks to leave. I agree that parents should be watching their kids, as it's one of the written rules. I also feel that staff should enforce the written rules and not just control the environment if it benefits them.
