My husband and I went to the Parker location after not being able to get an appointment for weeks at the Denver spot. We both had male masseuses, though I do not remember their names (notably they were not the Yelp-notorious Igor, who I will try to go back for). We did the whole shebang - which runs about $700 for ~3 hours for both people. It seemed expensive to me; however, it is cheaper than a hotel day spa and the experience was awesome and unique. You start in a hottub (clothing optional) to warm up (~25 min). Then you proceed to the massage tables for round 1 of face-down massages (~30 min). They are very attentive and will focus on problem areas. Then you are directed to the VERY hot sauna for round one of baking - followed by being smacked with tree branches covered in therapeutic honey (~20 min). It didn't hurt - but it wasn't pleasant. But...it did loosen me up a bit, despite the crescendo of having ice cold water thrown on my back. You then get a quick shower to get honey off and make your way back to the tables for the face up portion of the massage. Back to the sauna. And then back to the tables for a body treatment of your choice (I did healing mud and my husband did an exfoliating scrub). And you finish with another quick shower. I was happy to find that all facilities are in your own private room so you're not going in and out. Staff is respectful and makes sure you have modesty even if you opt to go nude (which I'd recommend). When you're done, you get nice teas and orange slices. This is NOT a cushy robe and relaxation place. You begin and end in a strip mall lobby. BUT, it is one of the best massages I've ever had and I left more relaxed than I've been in years. I had been to the Izba Spa in Denver a couple of times and cherished every second, so when I had to move to the 'burbs and discovered a second location just minutes away I was excited but apprehensive (would it be the same, etc.) Well, I had a Basic Treatment yesterday at the Izba Spa in Parker, and I can say with absolute confidence that it is JUST as fantastic as the Denver location, from the moment you enter the place all the way through the treatment and even your checkout while you hang out a little in the front lobby, enjoying your hot tea and half-orange (yes, really). Also, for those of you addicted to Izba Spa in Denver - if you have enjoyed Eugene's work in Denver, just request to work with Igor in Parker. Yes, the Basic Treatment is $120, and with appropriate tip that takes it to around $150, but believe me - It. Is. WORTH. It! Thank you, Izba Spa and Igor! read more

First let me say, this was a great experience and I enjoyed it. However, my boyfriend and I came in from Ohio Valentine's Day weekend. A friend who lives here locally highly suggested it. I called and made appointments over 30 days prior. I asked for a male and female masseuse the lady who answered said they wouldn't have a female available. However, my thought process and customer service expectation that booking a $420 service for 3 hours 30 days in advance I'm sure they can deliver. However, that was not the case. Because of my selfishness and desire to try the spa due to such high recommendation from my friend. We had 2 male masseuses. I was happy but he didn't enjoy it so much due to his comfort level of having a male masseuse. I'm giving them a 2 based on customer service and failure to deliver. I'm not sure if they employ a female masseuse which would be understandable; however, that was never states when I called and called back a week prior to the visit. Maybe my customer service expectations are high but generally so are my tips but not in this case, very minimal. If you don't mind a male masseuse I say try it. read more

THE only way in the world to get me to a strip mall or any mall for that matter would be Izba - you haven't lived until you've experienced The BaSIC....which should actually be called The VIP. Hot soak in the jacuzzi to loosen up Your bones. And I needed it after 4 weeks of 14 hr work days. I was marinating that out of my muscles when I was told to get ready for a half hour massage. The best I've ever had. We're not done yet. Then relax in THE BANYA this sauna offers intoxicating oils and lavender- then you're glossed with honey- the heat is almost unbearable until Julie comes in and lightly slaps you with smokey oak leaves- this releases the toxins that are steaming off your body. Then she drizzled you with a cool jungle like rain... to cools you down. Then a light shower and another massage-Russian orchestra music will play cartoons in your head until it's time for another sauna. Clove oil intoxicates your sinus and lungs. Another slathering of honey. Then an arctic blast of cool water like an Irish Spring. Another shower then your treated with a warm tea recipe of cardamom and fruit. Best massage I've ever had. I suspect the reason there aren't more reviews for Izba is because the people who go there want to keep this secret for themselves and not worry about working around a busy schedule there. Just kidding. But seriously, I will never enjoy another massage after doing the banya special- 1 hour massage, hot tub as a prep and finish off with sauna, banya treatment, and ice bucket splash. I hadn't been to Izba spa for 7+ years (live outside of Colorado), and I had not been to this Parker location until the other day. I could kick myself for not coming back sooner! I had a 90 min massage + banya and it was amazing. The massage therapist, Mark, was extremely good at his job - probably one of the best massages I've had (and I've had a lot of massages in my life!). He really seemed to know where the pain was in my back and he, at my request, dug very deep and really got out so much of the pain that was hurting me. The spa is far from fancy, but I come here to get fixed and feel better. The place is clean, professional, and has good prices and nice people. Fantastic service. I stumbled upon them on google maps looking for a same day massage, gave them a call, and was able to fit into a 1 hour time slot a few hours later. Showed up, was greeted by a very nice lady, and got the massage. I asked for a deep tissue full body massage and the lady did a fantastic job. Once finished, I was able to take a shower and was treated to an orange and a couple cups of tea!! Now I feel nice and loose, and a bit sore which is given for deep tissue massage. My husband and I just visited Izba today for the first time. We had a great time! Very clean facility. The banya is very hot.....the cool water splash is terrific. The massage therapists were also our hydro therapists. Very professional! It is almost impossible to find a professional massage therapist who will perform massage on the gluts. Ours did and very professionally. Wonderful! I could not have had a better experience any where else. I can't believe what I've been missing. We will be going back I think at least quarterly!!! This is my second Yelp review.. I only signed up to give a negative review for a restaurant. But I couldn't help but show my appreciation to such a fantastic place. If you are reading this review, you are thinking about going to Izba. Schedule now, it's well worth it. Like the other reviewers, I was trying to find something different for my wife on her birthday. Given that she's Russian, I thought this could be fun. I've been to a handful of massage places but am still the nervous one that is awkward about being touched or blowing money on stuff like that.. You pull up to a strip mall but don't realize what's inside. You go to a private room with a hot tub, sauna (Banya), shower and two massage tables. For the Deluxe package, which is what we did, you go in the hot tub for 15 minutes (which was almost too long, we were getting ansy).. They knock and you go to the tables. Igor and Sarah came in and did a one hour massage. Most of the massages I have ever gotten are far from powerful enough and I get bored. Unless you're digging in, I can't feel anything.. Igor was very powerful, consistently, and the entire massage felt amazing. The wife loved Sarah's power as well. After the hour, we were sent in the sauna. Once inside, they poured scented steam (one I remembered was lavender+orange but there were a couple different onces). The air fills with hot steam that feels so good to breathe in. You lay there.. Sarah came in and put honey all over our backside.. Then used oak leaves with hot steam and smacked our backside.. WHAT!? you say? Yes, you read that right. As weird as it was, it felt awesome once the confusion went away. We were then sent to the shower to rinse off quickly.. Then we were sent back to the massage tables, this time, laying on our backs. 30 more minutes of the front side and neck.. The neck is what I was waiting for. Then back to the sauna, also, on our backs. Repeat of the same on the front.. Then I was scared for cool water to be poured on me.. 2 seconds of regrets but then, again, it felt amazing. Back to the table for a seaweed/clay body mask. Then shower off before tea and orange slices. Another uncomfortable feeling for me is nudity... They were very respectful and careful with the towels by keeping you covered, they had a good system. You do a lot of moving around from one place to another.. They were smooth. I've been to two spas in the mountains (Idaho Springs and Glenwood Springs) and to Spavia in Westminster. Nothing in this world compares to Izba. If I read the reviews before I went with all the details, I might not have went because of the different style.. But I am so glad I did. We will be going back!! And if a cheapskate like me goes back, you have no excuse! read more

Outstanding! I have been going to Izba Spa in Parker for over 12 years and am never disappointed. I always get the Izba Special treatment which is $105 - hot tub session, massage and Banya session. Yesterday I was able to get a last minute appointment and the owner was my massage therapist, who is excellent at her work! I don't recommend any other business for massage except for Izba! read more
