Also, it's better to split a shisha between two of you, unless you really come from the Middle-East! As for dinner, don't skip the hummus with pita bread and definitely go for any of their wraps. But, don't over-order, because the portions are generous and you'll be full quickly. Spice-wise, don't be afraid, they don't overdo the pepper. If you feel brave, try the red dipping sauce next to the complimentary garlic paste that they offer. For a portion of hummus sawarma and a falafel wrap it's around 8£. Shisha split between two of you will cost around 7.5£. Add some tea for 3£ and you'll cruise the Mediterranean for no more than 20£. The fact that it was a year between visits didn't diminish the fact that I was both welcomed and recognised as I entered. The food is superb. The chefs are not just competant, but highly skilled, and are willing to fulfil any request that is made. My overall impression of Black Pepper is of a restaurant that I would love to dine in more. The food is well prepared, well presented and reasonably priced.

The second time, I believe there was a party upstairs and it took an additional 20 minutes for to get our bill after we finished our food, which was slow in coming out. The waitress seemed to be stressed and unhappy over the party and it came across in her attitude towards us. It didn't help that we were in a rush. All and all, I probably wouldn't go back to Medi Grill because of the service. The food was tasty but I won't run the risk of being made late again or feeling like a burden.
