Could never get the hang of ice skating, though it was pushed on me a little bit tangentially through family members. Growing up preferred basketball and football on TV. I've come around. A little bit, anyways. It is much better than baseball. Partial season ticket holder with the Wild. Warroad/Roseau/Lake of the Woods is the epicenter of hockey in MN, even more so than the Metro. Must be something in the water. They live and breathe it up here. Just up as a summer observer. More of a chicken/fish/pork guy when I eat meat. Got the flagship burger. Really good! Even though I don't hunt or fish or play hockey, I liked it up here. Might have to buy a cabin, even though the drive home crushed my soul. read more

Stopped in for an adult beverage, it was prepared as requested and was quite good. The service was good, the bartender was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be that there was no low ball glass option which would have been a better glass for the cocktail. I will stop here again to try the food. read more

Standard bar food. I ordered poutine. I don't often order this, but they used a light amount of shredded cheese instead of cheese curds. Over all it was kind of expensive for the quality of food. The ambiance/atmosphere was good and the decor was very log cabin feel. Nice selection of tap beers on hand too. read more

Great hockey memorabilia everywhere. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Both nights our orders came out correctly. The staff checked on us frequently. I recommend the taco salad. read more

Food is always great and the drinks are stiff. The Izzy burger is an easy favorite from the menu. Their new pizza is delicious too!

Stay away from the nachos, they taste like Taco Bell tacos with canned nacho cheese. I hate that crap, it is OK for the fair and little league games, but unforgivable at a restaurant charging more than $5. There was a light dusting of shedded cheese, similar to Taco Bell taco cheese. Also had lettuce on nachos. In my opinion, nacho at $10 should be shredded meat with real cheese melted into the nachos. My wife got the child's hamburger meal, said it was good. The bar was nice with a Northwoods / hockey theme. Unfortunately there was only one bartender during the 5-7 pm Wednesday night crowd. She was efficient, but had zero time for any conversation. The bar had several hockey jerseys on the ceiling. When I asked if they were all locals who made the big-time, all I got was "yes". Fortunately, the patrons were friendly. read more

It's bar food so anything fried is good. I was here with a large group and everything looked good. I highly recommend the walleye sandwhich and poutine! You order at a counter then they bring out the food, pretty quick and everyone was friendly. Pool table and arcade are a plus. read more

Not too happy about spending $4.50 on a 1/4 of a box of generic grocery store mac and cheese for my daughter and $11 for a big glop of sweet barbecue sauce on a hot dog bun calling itself a pulled pork sandwich for myself. Its a sorry state of affairs when DQ would have been tastier. read more

Tood a bunch of contractors up to Warroad for a Marvin window plant tour. Izzy's was our hang out of choice!! Great staff, fun atmosphere and the bartender poured nice, stiff drinks!! read more

This place is gross and the workers are very rude. Ordered chicken wings as an app and they were fatty and horrible. How do you mess up chicken wings? The burgers are just nasty old frozen patties with no taste. I would never recommend this place and I never have. I will not go back. read more
