That is why when I collaborate with others, I look for not only their expertise, but also their dedication, their reliability, and their ability to understand me as their client. For my first annual Shiva Group client appreciation party, I had a specific vision for the kind of ambience, aesthetic, and sense of community I wanted to create for my event. It was important to me for the event to not only look beautiful, but also to feel welcoming and celebratory. Vida is a visionary in her own right. She took the time to ask me many questions, so that she could fully understand what I wanted. She was patient and made me feel like my event was a priority, even though I know she has many other clients. She researched every idea I had and made sure that the decorations, coordination, setup, and post-party breakdown were all taken care of with efficiency and ease. She made sure to honor my budget, while providing the best quality. I, myself, have hosted many parties of larger sizes in the past, but I was nervous about this event since it was my first time formally celebrating my real estate company. After I sat down to plan with Vida, I felt relaxed. The nervous butterflies turned into excitement. She is one of the most professional, caring, and talented event planners and designers I have worked with! She was attentive, but, most importantly, she had this natural ability to strategize how to bring my vision to life. I could not have done this without her stepping in and taking the lead!
We took a rugged park and turned it into a "Bougie Picnic." Vida was involved in every step of the process. From the intricate balloon arch decorations by the water to the flower piece table setting to the elegant (and very Instagrammable) picnic set up with plush pillows by the grand tree... Vida turned it all into an absolute dream. Though the event was a private party, there was even some nearby families walking by who asked if they could take photos by the balloon arches and picnic corner!
