We were so happy with the way things were going we decided to put our horse in full time training with Lindsay. This has turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made thus far with our horse. Lindsay has taken a unfinished Ranch horse that would barely move off a spur to a beginning jumper that can be ridden sans spurs and by my very small daughter. There is no doubt Lindsay can work magic with horses but she's equally as good at instructing. She's the perfect mixture of being strict with horsemanship yet keeping it fun and letting kids be kids. White Wolf is reasonably priced. Lindsay will work with you regarding lesson times. All in all I can't say enough nice things about White Wolf Equestrian.

I'm not sure it's exactly like riding a bike--but Karen made me feel completely at ease from the start. Kiwi, my horse, was incredibly patient and gentle with me. I swear she knew I needed a little extra TLC! It made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. I even got to do a tiny bit of trotting, which was such a fun bonus. The owners Ann and Frank are the nicest hardworking people you will ever meet. They are both 100% hands on people, and for that reason you get a family environment when you walk in the barn. The trainers have all gone above and beyond for our girls, they have a genuine care and respect for the horses and the riders. Our youngest is trying her hardest to one day be apart of the show team. She is being trained very well by all the trainers, especially Katie & Ann. They both take the time to teach fundamentals to make her a better rider. Our older daughter has a developmental delay, her trainer, Aurora is very patient but disciplined while keeping a calm presence. The barn has a great family oriented atmosphere, everyone has a great sense of humor and we're grateful we found them!

The tack on the horse was incorrect and my daughter almost slid off. Lesson took place walking back and forth in a crowded barn dodging random dogs. Horse escaped during our lesson and it was utter chaos; owner yelled at everyone once the crisis was over (including me) for not reacting fast enough. My child still rides; we live across the street from Miller but drive 30 minutes to a barn she loves with excellent instruction where I don't worry about her safety.

We brought our granddaughter here for summer's camp and she had the best time and learned so.....so…read moremuch. I cannot believe how much shes learned in 2 weeks. Kay and her teen counselors made her experience something very memorable, her riding ability and confidence was so uplifted. She's learned more in 2 weeks than she's learned in 1-1/2 years of private lessons. We now have her enrolled in group lessons as well as boarding her newly acquired horse. So happy my granddaughter is here at Barking Elf Ranch!!!
