With that, three minutes after his arrival, my door was fixed and working again. But instead of just leaving, since he was already there and had to charge me for the callout, he also adjusted the height and chain, lubricated it, and also pointed out some future potential problems I should be on the look out for. The person who took my call was very courteous and helpful, and, as I said, response time was phenomenal. Mike was excellent, and I appreciated his work, ethic, and personability. They ate a large portion of the bottom door seal and therefore it was a wide open door for them. This was on a Sunday so we tried to fix this ourselves. There is a reason you should go with the trained experts. I called this company and they had a truck come to our home in about 2 hours. The technition listened to my sad story and said 'No problem I can fix this'. In just over an hour he had a commercial grade door seal on - fixed two cables that were wearing and we now have a firmly closed door with no leaks. This is the second time we have used this company - the first time it was for broken springs. Efficient skilled and have been available! Best customer service and today this was the best money we have spent - tonight we can sleep. If we have any problems with this door in the future we will be calling 403-234-9777. Thank you

I arranged for The Garage Door Company to replace the springs in our garage door. A young man…read moreshowed up. He removed the two long springs and replaced them with four shorter springs that appeared to have been used (see photo). The young man was clearly over his head as it took him the better part of two hours to complete the work; he spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone getting assistance. In the process he damaged the rail, bending it with pliers so the door would travel the entire distance; however it was very noisy. Garage Door Bill ~$950.00. I immediately called Action Doors, Calgary to repair the damage. The service technician from Action appeared within an hour. He removed the four springs and replaced with two new springs designed for the Action Door. The garage door was now functioning smoothly. Bill: $372.00. I tracked down one of the owners of the company about my concerns. He was very argumentative and threatening.
